REALLY COOL BAG! I love it personally, but I didn't order it for my store.

It's a big tote- 16 x 6 x 19, $269 retail. Pool is not an option, only beach, apricot, fugesickle and black. It's scheduled for mid april delivery.

Does anybody else have a pic of a Butane Jane?
Especially if worn by the longer shoulder strap?

Does top of the bag flop over like in the Anna Corinna City tote?
And- is the trim brown or black?

I don't think it's like the Anna Corinna. The trim is brown...right Alexandra?

There are no pics in this thread of it being worn by the larger shoulder strap...
and the trim does look more brown, but it's hard to tell.

I believe the trim is brown on all the fall 2007 colours except for the charcoal shade, which had black trim.

I'm 5'6", to give you an idea in the modeling pic, however, my height is mostly legs (I have a comparatively short upper body) so the bag may appear to sit higher on most people.

I don't know what you mean by 'flop over', but the top is just the two sides zippered together. You can kind of see it in my picture of the bag interior in that ^^ link.

Oh, and the trim is dark brown. :)

It sort of looks like you can attach the shoulder strap to a ring about halfway down the bag (instead of to the top ring) - so I was wondering if it the top of the bag would 'flop over' if you wore it that way.
But, I'm thinking it would not! It looks like it's too stiff/ just not constructed that way.

Oh, ok, I see what you're saying. I've never worn it like that! Let me go check...

Well, you can force it to fold over, but the bag's natural inclination is to just sort of "crunch" down. It's really awkward, I guess the bag is top-heavy with the handles, so it doesn't want to sit upright...I can't see myself ever actually carrying it like that. It's not practical if you're looking to shorten the hang of the bag. I guess there's a reason they always attach the handles on top! I will occasionally attach the shoulder strap to one of the lower rings, but never both.
