^^Wow they do have a lot! But this bothers me (I'm a shipping cheapskate).... these rates REALLY bother me when all I had in my cart was a Cheap Cheaper Cheapest. You can slap that puppy in a bubble mailer and put $2.00 postage on it and it's here in a week.

Just a reminder, this thread is to list online Tano stores. Particularly ones that we have had experience with (either good or bad), not just a list of googled sites that we can find that sell Tano. Also, it's not for chat about prices/deals/steals etc.

Okay fellow Tano-ites...here's my ONLY online "bummer" shopper story I've ever had to tell. But, I use this thread so often to go on when buying online I figured I'd share my experience I just had with Irvs.com as a heads up for those in the future. I need to note that though I wasn't buying something Tano (it was Dooney) they do in fact sell Tano and I ordered from them not only because of their fab price on that particular bag, but also because Watson's Mom seemed to have a pleasant experience ordering her lovely Avocado Self Service--so I figured ah, what the heck?

Anyway, I placed my order Friday (2/13) and with free ground shipping knew that it probably wouldn't ship out until Monday. After receiving no confirmation receipt email I called Saturday and they told me that though they DID have record of my order I needed to call back Monday to make sure that it would be shipping out that day and to ask any questions that I had at that time instead. Additionally, I asked if I would get a tracking number and was told that if I wanted one, I had to call and request it (ahem, another to-do for my Monday follow up call). Seemed strange, but whatever (I was saving $50 people!)

So, Monday mid morning rolls around and I still have no email receipt and no update to my online order after logging onto their website. Which, with any other retailer I would have freaked out about but I WAS told to call back SO...I call and speak with a different girl who has a giggle attack on the phone with one of her co-workers (I'm talking muffling the phone with her hand giggling) and tells me that my bag should still ship out that day and I should have a tracking number by later on Monday evening. SO, today rolls around and still no email confirmation or tracking number-BUT, my status on their website has changed to "In Warehouse". So, I wait it out and figure "okay great, things are coming together" only to then receive a call about an hour later telling me that my bag was backordered until the end of March and they wanted to know if I could wait. I probably wouldn't have been TOO disappointed but they had already charged my card immediately after I placed the order AND my status had bothered to change to "In Warehouse" which I didn't even worry to ask what that was about.

Anyway, I ended up cancelling and plan on ordering from another etailer that I've shopped with before. Though the first lady I spoke to was nice, my customer service experience after that point was very poor. I felt like my order didn't matter much and if I hadn't called so religiously I'm not sure when I would have found out my bag was backordered. I HATE criticizing businesses because I know my order might have been an unfortunate hiccup in their system--but still, If you do choose to order through Irv's Luggage make plenty of follow up calls because I believe they were what are getting my money credited faster to me

^^oh gohogs, I am so sorry you had such a bad experience! I actually returned the above mentioned Self Service and had no problems, and have since ordered another Tano from them which I kept (I know, a miracle for The Return Queen!). It was a very quick and flawless transaction- I called to make sure they really had it, and the lady even gave me the 15% discount when the code wouldn't work. I had the bag in a matter of days...go figure....again, sorry for your troubles!

Same EXACT thing happened to me w/Irv's. They had something advertised -I bought it and few days later called about it to be told it was on Back-order? I am thinking w/them one must just do the ordering by phone and make sure the item is in...the prices are FAb so I think it is worth it.
PS I think I had the same inept girl waiting on me that you had.

Does anyone know why Luna Boston stopped getting more Tanos??

There are the same 3 non leather bags up there.

They used to have an amazing selection and LB is one of my favorite websites. I don't understand what is going on.
