TK...Hope things work out with Mr SexyMan's Mom...things like that are so hard!

Vooo...you never know...my boys have not a mean bone either, but Austin, my black doggie...I have had him wrap around my legs growing to protect me when a lose dog ran into us on a walk...he would definately protect her...maybe he should be her date chaperone when she is old enough LOL!

Kitty...you are too good...NEED hardly ever plays into my purchase process...either that or my WANTS become NEEDS somehow in my thought process! LOL!
I am in the same boat as you on this. We have not gotten to testing stage, but we are concerned. We are at well over a year with no results. I am 35. Not fun. We try not to stress about it.

Need doesn't play into my purchase process either but it should! Good for you Kitty!

Agree .

Thank goodness DD is home.......because it's depressing when you have a very sad Boxer doggie. (He went nuts when we got home Sunday haha)
O.M.G. This is hilarious. I just love Boxers. They are so loyal. I was walking during lunch hour the other day, and a woman was walking her boxer. He was dying to run up to me, but he couldn't reach me. Well, he was on one of those zippy leashes, and as soon as he got his chance, he pounced. He jumped up on me, which didn't bother me at all (except for his muddy paws and my white cardigan). The lady was genuinely mortified, but I just laughed. A sweater so doesn't matter (it washed just fine), and I loved her dog. My S-I-L also has a boxer, Lefty. He is the cutest ever.

Thanks everyone, I hope she gets well too! It's been stressful for him, he hired a nurse to visit her daily or something like that though... so he's back at work now! Bleh! I miss him lol
I'm already at the office this morning hahah!

WTF am I gonna do when this kid graduates and goes away to college??????)

Voo, I don't even want to go there about sending your first born off to college! The only good thing was that after a few weeks, mom becomes "smart" again....."Oh, now I know why you told me not to wash my red tshirt with the white socks"........

Voo, you talking about how much you adore your DD is so completly sweet!! You must have been so happy to see her again on Saturday and I bet she missed you a ton too! As a younger person (27) all I am told by my family is how much work kids are... but you really highlight the amazing parts of being a parent! Made me say "awww" outloud!
I was older than you are when I had my first. Now my youngest is your age. Our kids (we have blended families) range in age from 27-37, and not one grandchild yet. Voo is right about raising kids. There is nothing else like it! It is the hardest thing I have ever done. The highest highs and the lowest lows.

Just keep practicing! Yes, it is worth it! (Adoption is good too)!

Quick story, I know a woman who was told she couldn't concieve because of a medicine her mom took. Long story shorter... she did a lot of tests and doctor things to be absolutely sure and nothing worked. She went the adoption route since she is a nurturer and still wanted mommy-hood. Well, don't you know not 6 months after adopting her baby son... she got pregnant. She had a second daughter of her own after the first -- and is now a happy 3 kid family. It's an amazing story to me and really shows the power of anything can happen even if medical results tell you one thing, you just never know.
I had a friend who tried to conceive forever. She did not have trouble getting pregnant, but always miscarried early on. She adopted a girl, then a boy. THREE months after she adopted the boy, she was pregnant and had a healthy pregnancy. She then had 3 kids under the age of 4! She was swamped!

Well, she says she wants to go to Baylor which is about an hour one way so she'd be able to come home on the weekends. hahaha Either that or we'll be moving a kid and a dog
Ha! I won't even touch that one!

^^HAHAHA well let's see....we've had Duke three years and one month. He was about 18 months old when we rescued him. So that makes him about four and a half now......so he'll be a pretty old man by the time DD graduates. I dunno if he could take permanent separation anxiety. (Yeah....yeah....all of you that have kids that have left the nest....I know this is me conjuring up reasons to keep her near....I'll grow up too..... I hope...hahaa)

So I was just informed tonight that I am "COOL Auntie Deb" and I need to accompany my 14 year old niece to a Paramore No Doubt concert Wednesday night...

So I have spent the whole night to my ipod no doubt and signing while cooking and having my DH give me :blink:looks...

But hey, he will be fed (muffins for breakfast and my overnight spinach manicotti, on top of dinner tonight) and I enjoyed it a heck of a lot more...

The doggies also had NO CLUE what I was doing...
