Thanks guys I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with this weakness. I just wish I could find some kind of happy medium. I'm either all or nothing.

GAH, all this talk about food! I am trying so hard to be a healthy eater but all this talk about Sonic is killing me. I am determined not to go crazy with the bad food this weekend, but it may be tough to resist the drinks.

If it's a drink it's fat free.

yes musicgirl, the age thing is a killer. I am 50, and can tell you your metabolism pretty much comes to a screeching halt about now!
I know, I'm almost 49 and my knees hurt when I run and I'm not running as much now because of my terrible plantar fasciitis. Getting older is not fun but better than the alternative....

Oh gosh, stupid sweet tooth.. my doc told me to drink protein shakes in the morning (ones with 1g of carbs or less) and they will curb my hunger plus not start my body craving carbs (sugar) right away.

Yeah, that's all well and good and I stay full until lunch (I never eat breakfast anyways, not real hard to do! lol) and then I eat pasta at like 10 pm lmao... soooooo defeats the purpose but I cannot help it!!!!! I do not know what you're supposed to eat when you don't eat carbs. I eat chicken and veggies and fruit but dang... you can only eat SO many vegetables in a day before all that "roughage" gets to you! KWIM?!

I used to eat like that too, except the skipping breakfast! Skipping breakfast is a big no-no! By nature, I am a carbosaurus. Now I have switched to more healthy eating habits. I try to eat fruit with breakfast and veggies wit lunch and dinner. I try to eat 5 meals a day but sometimes it is rough.

Maybe a fruit and yogurt smoothy on your way to work? Pre-blender the fruit and then just combine with yogurt.. by the time it melts you may be in the mood for a sip? But... I understand that's early!

Any one else watching american idol. I haven't been much of a fan, but bummed about no Fringe tonight and not a whole lot on.

I don't watch American Idol but I do watch Fringe and also the Mentalist on Tuesdays. Of course I'm usually not home until after so the DVR saves me.

That's why I have the protein shake! Royal chocolate (or something) with only 1 g of carbs, lots o protein and some fiber.... delish!

I don't watch ANYTHING live. I dvr it all. Sometimes when I am watching live tv I find myself trying to fast forward through the commercials. I am so spoiled, lol.
