Everyone doin' fun stuff for the holiday weekend? I am seeing friends from my old job (IRL purse friends!) tonight. I'm excited to see them, and am hoping I have fewer drinks than I did the last time I hung w/them, lol!

We go pick up DD on Saturday morning

And then Hub has a sister out that way so we're going to have a big 4th BBQ over there and spend the night.

Oh no, the last time I hung with this whole crowd was just about a year ago, and OMG...let's just say I can't ever go back to that bar again. It was so not typical of me...it was a letting off steam night. Hubby's words this morning were, "Please do not make me have to drive down there and go into the ladies room to get you again." Thank goodness he is a saint (and that was a rare event)!

Um, correct. Those things get harder and harder to recover from at my age! What once took a half-day to get over now takes 2 days! I can't do that stuff anymore. I'm masquerading as a respectable adult! It's not working, I know...

You too are so funny...and that is why to this day I will no longer drink vodka...and my horrible night also involved a bathroom...tequila is so much better anyways!

Weekend plans are home projects...toilet is leaking again, which I think means a new bathroom floor, which while we do that, we will do the entry way...so yea...more floor fun...NOT.

But a friend of mine from high school is coming into town, so a group of us are getting together to visit...should be fun.

Me, I am sitting watching an old Harry Potter... through yet another thunder and lightening storm. I am hosting 4th of July for the first time and really looking forward to having my Hubby's parents over. Plus, 4th of July is the coolest holiday EVER!! Happy early 4th everyone!
