My cousin is my dentist so he never charges me above what he gets from insurance. Life will suck when he retires.

Ugh I don't know... I've been without health insurance for two months now and have been sick for about five weeks of it. Luckily I'm still a student and can go to the clinic on campus but still... it's so friggin frustrating!

^I didn't have health insurance for about 3 years when I was in school. Very scary. It was always in the back of my mind as to what I'd do if I ever got into a bad car accident. I even refused to go to the ER once when I had pneumonia because I didn't want to pay out of pocket.

It's been my experience that whenever I don't have insurance that's when I get the sickest and now that we have insurance the dental is the worst part and that's when I need 2 bridges which the insurance pays almost nothing!!! My cousin is a dentist also and gives us great deals but he's a couple of hours away and I feel too guilty to ask for the deals especially since he gave us my husband's invisalign at his cost which saved us thousands of dollars!

Y'all are lucky to know dentists...maybe I need to start loitering at dental graduations!!!!!

I swear, tho....I'm almost never sick (knock on wood) .... go to my annual OB/GYN is about it.... but I need quite a bit of dental work and I'm just not happy w/ the thought of getting a loan or financing my teeth. Which, I suppose, is stupid. It's not like my teeth are super ugly or anything but I have to have a bridge replaced and I have two baby teeth that are starting to feel loose (gah!) .... and I want nice pretty straight white teeth instead of my normal person teeth....sigh...

Haha! Yep! I cannot tell a lie! I have two baby teeth still in my head. That has to be some kind of world record right? I'll be 39 in August and I still have baby teeth. The permanent teeth that were supposed to come in are just hanging out in my jaw....never bother me....never tried to come in. I have two lumps in the roof of my mouth that I thought everyone had until I was 30 and a dentist told me that those were my permanent teeth that were supposed to come in Nice, eh?

^^ I don't think it's that common, but I did work with someone who still had a few baby teeth.

This is fun! Dogs and teeth!! I didn't see much of the dog show, but loved when they showed a bit of the agility part! I am only 3 months in to training my dog (well.. I am actually the one in need of the training), but I am hooked!! I think I am going to see a real live agility trial in a few weeks!! Can't wait!

Voo, the baby teeth thing... now I'm at my desk checking all my teeth with my tongue trying to decide if any are baby teeth!
