Default Talk to me about the Chicklit!
So, after a year of my Hayden-Harnett wallet, which contracted a fatal case of leprosy about a week after I got it (i.e., its metallic purple coating started flaking off, leaving a puke-a-licious flesh color visible), I'm in the market for a new one.

I think I'm going to get a Chicklit.

But I'm wondering: Are they durable? As much as I baby my bags, I'm terribly hard on my wallets.

Do they have a lot of card slots?

Should I get BH or wait til fall colors come out? I can put up with the leper colony til then ... I wonder what color lining the BH has ...

I have only had my chicklet for a few weeks now and I can't imagine going back to anything else. Holds a ton.. has a total of 11 CC slots. 8 in a sippy pocket and 3 in the center opening area. I can also put my check book, change, ipod, ear buds, cell phone and it has room to spare!

I also love how I can pull it out of my bag and use it a as a clutch if I am going to lunch or for for drinks after work.

Because they are crunch leather I am guessing they are very durable... so far I haven't had any issues. And I would say that a BH chicklet would be really really nice!! Why wait!!

Not surprised to hear about your HH.....but I'm sorry it happened to you.

The Chicklit is amazing. I have one in pool that I carried for almost a year and then loaned it to my sister who's carried it since then and it still looks gorgeous. Hardware is still shiny. Crunch leather still smells like crunch.

I'm actually thinking about ordering one in berry blue to carry w/ my Blu Miss Wu cos I think she needs a matching wallet.

I absolutely ADORE my blueberry chicklit - I have had it for maybe 6 months, and i think it's the best wallet i've ever owned! I can keep my checkbook in it (in the middle zipper pocket) and i keep lipgloss/chapstick in the zipper comparment with the change purse. Half the fun is figuring out how you're going to set yours up and where everything goes. I reallly want a green apple one, but other than that, it's perfect ;0)

I have one in black that I bought used. It is my absolute favorite wallet ever! There is a place for everything and it really keeps me organized.

I think I need one in another color...

I am NEVER going back. I may get a small wallet-y thing for going out with clutches, etc, but for daily use and travel I am the Chicklit poster girl!

I have never been so organized in all my days! And it was the BEST around Christmas, since I could sort receipts and keep track of giftcards, and carry my savings account passbook etc.

Every woman needs a Chicklit!

I have a new Junior Drake wallet, but I was checking out the Chicklit the other day at Mason's. It is a great wallet! I'll get one one of these days, I think. After I wear out my Junior Drake, perhaps.

Thanks, yall!!

Decisions are so hard ... do I want to wait for teal/violet/garnet, or go BH/green apple?

I want Green Apple!

But I know I should get a neutral, so I would get Caramel if I had any money.

I wanted a green apple one... but they weren't in stock, so I decided on Carmel and boy am I happy I did. It goes with everything! Plus I can take it to a business lunch and not stick out too much. I see a bright colored one in the future, but a neutral-ish chicklit is a must. Plus once you see carmel in person.. you realize how amazing the depth of the color is while still being neutral!
