Default Smoke Sexbomb
Sorry ladies, no pics yet.

For the first time, I think I may return a Tano. *sigh*

I love the SB style, and I like the Smoke color even though it's not quite what I expected, but there is a problem for me right now, and that problem is the strap drop.

It's a pretty tight fit to get on my shoulder (for the record I am 5'3 and fluctuate between 116 and 120) and I would definitely never be able to get it over a coat. It's just not comfortable. It looks like the handles are adjustable, but they're really not, because of that ring on the front. I can wiggle the strap up and work around that, but then the rings are sort of high and silly looking.

Also (and I doubt this would bother me if the strap drop weren't an issue) the front pockets are uneven/not the same size and the little tabby deals that the straps on them go through are totally not the same size. I know that's par for the course being handmade, but now that I see it, ya know.

I just don't know what to do. I wanted this bag for so long, and if it fit me fine I would totally keep it. I even pulled out my Ruby LRC (velvet leather SB) to compare and I'm definitely not hallucinating; it hangs a good 2 inches lower.

Thoughts? Advice?

I'll work on getting some pics up here soon for you guys either way.

Oh no Beeb!!!

There is nothing worse then waiting months for a bag and then not being blown over by it!!

I had a BH Sexbomb...and had no problem getting it over my shoulder...I am 5'4 and fluffy...granted, I do not know if it would work with a coat as I had mine in the summer, and have since sold it!

I still can't wait to see it...

And if it is not love...you know there is a smoke immeasureable coming?? That would be hot with the black trim!

Hey Deb. I'm wondering if I just got a bum one? I don't know. I *can* get it over my shoulder, but like I said, it's tighter than the LRC and the straps are shorter. It's sort of what I have heard called an "armpit bag".

I'm sure the Smoke Immeasurable will be very nice, but I really preferred a no-trim bag, and I don't want another Minilisa. I love the SB style.

ETA: I am now carrying a filled SB and LRC on either shoulder to help me decide. I realize I am a lunatic.

Beeb, I'm sorry you aren't happy with your bag, that stinks when you have waited so long :( I am 5'4 and 126 and can fit my SB easily on my shoulders, I actually consider it a shoulder bag. You are smaller than me so you may have a bum bag there.

LOL! What did you think about the smoke color? It was a bit more taupe-y than I thought it would be.

Hi Joan! I like the color, actually. It's a bit darker than I expected and I see what you mean about the taupe-ness when I look at the edges of the pockets and such, but overall it's nice!

Kimmi, thanks! My LRC has always been a shoulder bag too, and I guess I never even thought about the straps possibly being different.

I want the bag, that's what's making me feel let down right now. I'm hoping that carrying her filled for a little bit will help me get comfortable. I'll definitely report back.

Does anyone else have one of this season's SB's yet?

Awh beeb what a bummer to not be head over heels!

I don't wear my sexbombs on my shoulder (well, almost never) because my arms are humungo lol. And yeah there is a bit of taupe show through with the smoke but overall it's really nice!

Oh no Beeb..so it sounds like the strap drop is slightly different from your LRC? I'd exchange it for another, maybe you just got a short one.

Oh no Beeb! What a bummer! I LOOVVE my Sex Bombs, and that just sounds really strange. Maybe you got a bad one. Mine fit over my shoulders, and the adjusted straps look fine. Pockets are the same size. Mine's black from this past summer.

Thanks, Voo. I'm going to sleep on it for sure.

DH brought up the fact that maybe it needs to break in a bit, but I don't want to try breaking in something I might not keep, ya know?

Luv, do you think you could do me a huuuuge favor? Could you adjust one front strap to the longest and one to the middle (the way they come out of the box) and take a picture for me? If not, it's ok don't worry about it!

In continuance of my theme of Lunacy, I have brought the Smoke Sexbomb to work with me today. Note that I did not say I am carrying it, just that I brought it.
That's right, she came in her dustbag to sit on my desk today so I could observe her and consider.

Is there a hotline?
