Oh and my mom notices when I get new purses, but I think it is because she is plotting to steal them. Lol.
Haha, thanks! I'll check it out after I get back from my vacation while I'm on vacation! Confusing... I know! I won't have access to a computer from now until Sunday night EEK I'll miss you all lol

My friends always make fun of me for my bags but I think they secretly want to steal them all too! They always comment on them but roll their eyes when I talk about them lol

I just wanted to thank all of my Tano friends for being so nice and supportive of each other. It seems like some people in some of the other parts of their forum have lost their darn minds and are just being nasty to any and everyone.
I'm so proud to be part of a small but dedicated group that is just so awesome. And we haven't had to have any threads closed (other than the duplicate ones). It's nice to see that some people can still play well with others.
There were a few threads that were started in some other parts that just became so vicious (not to me personally) that I was thinking of taking a break for a bit. Then I remembered my awesome Tano friends and thought that it would be silly to leave them.

Isn't this board about sharing the love of handbags? It is beyond me why people come to this board to purposely stir up crap. From what I've witnessed, some to it is immaturity. I tend to call people out if they are pot-stirrers or are just plain being inconsiderate/biatchy-that's the way I'm in real life so why should it be any different here? I do consider the Tano subforum to be my home base. There are a lot of enthusiastic people here who want nothing more than to share the Tano love and discuss the brand. There's no pretense here, no drama queens and hopefully no scam artists. Keep it up ladies!

I agree with all of this. There just seems to be so much less ATTITUDE here! In some areas of the board, it just seems that a few people are so concerned about their perceived status that they will even try to tear down other member of their own forums in order to keep the heirarchy in place. I like that EVERY purchase here is considered a celebration! *sniff* You guys are just plain swell!

It's a pleasure to be in here and view all of the wonderful and insightful posts of everyone. I won't mention any brand names, but there once was a particular brand of handbag that had it's own sub-forum and it got shut down because everyone just needed to cool off, so those things really do happen when a lot of bickering goes on. I like the posts here on Tano when we feel we really need some type of bag, and other members say.....hey! You don't need that color! you already have three!! We actually seem to know one another's tastes and collections. It's much more satisfying that seeing a lot of gratuitous enabling that sometimes happens, too.

Hierarchy??? On a purse forum??? Come on now - as much as I love my Tano bags -- THEY'RE JUST PURSES!!! I will probably never meet any of you, but I think of our Tano group as a happy little family with lots of little - uh, big - purses and appreciate everyone's input and sharing. Can't imagine being ugly to anyone who shares the dream of the next Tano. It's funny - we all worry about the same things - like will the UPS man destroy my box. I personally worry about the UPS man leaving it at the back door and a strong wind blowing it into the pool. I'm thinking - Tanos don't swim well.

Oh wait - the next Olympic sport is on - Competitive Pursing! Yikes, what is this world coming to...

^^BikeChick there is definitely drama that happens in other parts of the forum. Cruise around a bit, the stuff that happens sometimes just blows your mind. And you're right in the scheme of life and to the rational brain they are just purses, but I think for some people they become much much more. I guess you could call it "competitve pursing" or "life in the henhouse". Makes me grateful to have the down-to-earth Tano forum.
Feel free to enable me and flash me your purse porn!

Haha! I almost had that happen to me when my wonderful, darling Coach SA sold me a magenta turnlock 6x8 agenda!!! This lady said (jokingly) that she was going to follow me out to the parking lot! EEK! LOL
