Oh boy, Love, Hope you rest and feel better soon. Let's chat it up!
I have a random Tano QUESTION for today: What's the deal with the teal color controversy? I have seen allusions to it in a bunch of threads, but I can't find the actual thread where the issue is clearly stated. Did the color turn out to be much different than expected? I ask because I am eyeing a teal bag. Is the color soon to disappear? If so, I may make my foray into the world of Tano color a teal bag first. Thanks! |

Thanks
Luv, what happened with the teal was that the color swatches all along were of an actual teal color and then they showed up and were pretty much jade green, not at all what anyone expected. If you look at the Touch Of Sass site they have a couple stock pictures of what teal was supposed to look like. But it was made in limited amounts so I think once it's gone there won't be many places to find it.

Yeah.. good ol' teal
![]() The first pic is the stock photo and the color we thought we were going to get. The second and third pics depict the actual teal color after production... definitely a deep green. Trim also changed from matching to contrast (black). |

My random Tano thought of the day is:
If Tano produced an actual teal Boogie I'd be all over it. |

Got it! Thanks, ladies. That was helpful. You're right - the original color was gorgeous! It's rare that you ever see a bag of any brand in that color. The green is pretty too, which is why I have been eyeing it up. But then again, what am I NOT eyeing up, really??

Another teal lament - in all the fashion magazines I've skimmed lately, it looks like teal is a huge color for fall. The real teal, that is. I have seen several cute bags in the teal color - even the greener teal is looking appealing (although I am more in the bluey teal camp).

My random thought for today is that I could really get into the idea of having a rainbow of sex bombs.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! I would really enjoy a rainbow of sexbombs ^ (even though I don't own one yet, but man oh man I would like one!). Hope you do get a rainbow and show it off to us!
House buying stuff is keeping me very busy, but it looks like we have found our dream home, and we are working now on negotiating the price. My fingers, toes, ears, arms, legs, and eyes are crossed that this works out!! And I am greatly in a place of wanting a bag right now like some of you!! And with all this talk of house buying just can't pull the trigger. *sigh*, but the hubby will be proud of my strength! (instead I splurged a few dollars on homemade guacamole and fresh fruit from the farmers market -- at least I will eat healthy!!) |
