I finally got to see crunch leather IRL at Anthropologie! It was some kinda rust/rouille colored shopper, def not the color or style I was looking for, but at least I got to see crunch leather in person. I do have to be honest, I am not a 100% in love with it yet. The smell I do admit is intoxicating, it smells soo great! The feel of the leather is nice and slick, the glossyness wasnt as bad as I thought. I just have to say that it is really stiff! I know it'll break in softer, but as of now I am totally not in love. Im sure I have to see my first crunch leather bag in my hands, in the style and color I want and of course with my crap inside it. Then I'll be in love.

(I've been away from the comp and I've missed tons! hahaha)

I myself right now have different bags that I like switching out..

Balenciaga - EB RH City, GGH Black PT, Truffle RH WE, Grenat RH Work, GSH Black Flat Clutch

Tokidoki - Campeggio in Notte, and Tutti, Canguro in Notte, and Tutti, Nuvola, BV, Gioco in Tutti, Avventura in Transporto, Ciao Ciao in Inferno, and Tutti, Ciao in Vacanze, and couple random accessories.
Coach - Whiskey Ali and a Platinum Bridgit and random accessories.


I am prolly missing a lot more, but as of now I can remember those.

Rey, don't sweat it I still love you Everyone has their own preferences about things (esp. purses here!) For example I'm not crazy about big big bags but a lot of the girls and you! here love them! But I think my favorite thing about Tano is that there are so many styles and colors each season that no matter who you are, you can find a bag that you truly truly love. That's definitely not something you can find with every other brand. I was so stoked when I found Tano here on tPF and truly fell in love with the grape french nanny I got and now the truffle minilisa on preorder So that's my Tano thought for today!

It's okay Rey! And just so you know, crunch leather softens QUITE a bit and in a very short amount of time. You know I wouldn't lie to you! I'm so jealous you have a platinum Coach bridgit!

haha thanks TK! I love the Bridgit, its such a great clutch! They have one now in a green smooth leather with brass HW, so hot.

New Thought -- Should I sell my Balenciaga Truffle Weekender? I dont use it much because its SOO huge, but when I do end up using it, I kinda really like it.. for the most part it sits in my room =[ I got it because I saw this cute lil asian girl running around town with a WE on her shoulder and it looked so cute, and so I got one, but like it barely goes on my shoulder and I kinda look like a beast coming to attack the town standing at 5`9 with this huge bag.

It would fund at least one, maybe 2 new Tanos, which I know I'd use!

Haha! Yes the green one looks divine! I think the teal is my favorite though.

If you're not using a bag then perhaps it would be best to sell it and get some that you will use. Be really sure you won't miss it before you sell it though!

I am never sure, I've sold several bags I thought I wouldnt miss/use but after im like ARGH! oh well.. I normally get new bags I love and use, then sell =[ I have some I love to death and cant live without!

TK!, when possible can you take comparison shots of the Sex Bomb and the Street Walker for me? PLEASE! I am currently choosing between those two for my second Tano.. either a Pom SB or a Black SW.. which do you like more? Which is bigger? Which do you think will be hotter to use this fall? TIA!

Rey -- you are such a sweetie. I adore your bag collection. As for your skepticism about the crunch leather, I completely understand. I thought the same thing at first. When I got my boogie bucket, it was really stiff and I was wondering how it could ever be soft, puddly leather. Within a week of use, it softened up and now it is soft enough to sleep on. Not that I sleep on it, but Piper does. Now when it is unused, it just barely stands up. It's so softy and smooshy.

My experience was the opposite. My Lawn Boogie was slouchy straight out of the box, most likely because it had been in the store for a while. After when I got my Apricot, I was like huh? But then it quickly slouched after a few days of carry. Now my Lawn won't even stand up....it just puddles even when all my stuff is in it. I can't wait until my newer Boogies do the same, and Bebe!

Sure Rey! I will try to do that this evening. Streetwalker has a longer strap drop, sexbomb has a softer handle. Streetwalker is definitely bigger (taller, etc) and they have different types of hardware... rings vs studs, etc. I love both of them and use them in different situations so I'm not sure which I like more. A black streetwalker would be HOT but then again so is a pom sexbomb! That is a really tough choice! As I said, I'll try to take pics tonight.
