I wasn't a fan of the velvet either. Didn't care for the texture of it and the matte-ness seemed kind of dull. It also felt kinda "painted" if that makes any sense. This plush leather definitely has more texture to it and it seems like it would be soft to the touch!

Hmmmnn...I saw the purple version of Plush and I know what you mean. Plasticky or waxy....it's like there was some sort of finish applied over the washed leather.

P.S. It's not the same look but B. Makowsky leather is like that too...supersoft but it feels like it's been overprocessed or something.

I don't get that 'plastic' or 'coated' feel at all w/ my Ramped Up. Strange.

Oooh yay! I love all these reveals. I really like the new bag, Voo. I am starting to rethink my opinion on pebbled leather.

^^I wore the bag yesterday to my MIL's. It's smaller than a lot of my other bags. No where near the capacity of a Boogie or my Edgy Out There.

But it was a very comfy wear and I really like her

^That's interesting, Voo. The dimensions make it sound HUGE.

Maybe this bag has flat construction like the Amanda Playwith?

Hiya, I hope you don't mind my jumping in here. I am usually over on the Hayden Harnett group, but Tano was my first "real" venture into handbags.

Anyway, I just got the Spring Eternal in plush purple. I find it to be super soft and chewy. No plasticy feel or coated feel at all. It feels very much like my Linea Pelle washed leather bags and just falls into a puddle when I set it down. I love it!

Hiya Travelmom! Nice to see you over here! I'm just getting to know Tano and have a blueberry Minilisa and a garnet one. Have another Minilisa in caramel coming and two of the fall bags on pre-order. You will LOVE it here!

Hi Travelmom,

Thanks for the insight! I've been going back and forth in my mind over the Plush bags, and the comparison to the washed LP leather helps. I have seen and felt those IRL before, so it really gives me a good idea about Plush now.

Hi, Travelmom!!! See...that's exactly how I feel about the black plush...just a puddle. Welcome to the Tano SF!

Thanks for the welcome ladies! I am seriously loving the Purple Haze Plush. The comment about wanting to dig your nails into it is very true. It is just awesome.

I don't have a whole lot of Tano, but my first bag was a BB in Dandelion crunch. I then got a Buxom Buddy (?) in blue velvet leather which I love for a small quick trip bag. I have a Baroque beauty in mink velvet leather, but must admit I have never used it. Now this Spring eternal in the plush makes my fourth and my favorite....well, I still adore my BB too
