Default Pre-ordering a fall bag?

Has anyone done this? I was just looking on musthavebag hoping to find a gray bag for the fall but instead fell in love with the French Nanny (a bag I have always loved) in this great blueberry color (I am also a sucker for blue bags).

Anyway, I called and left a message about pre-ordering. Has anyone else done this? Do you know when the bag will ship etc?

YAY! I'm considering a French Nanny, too! If you called and left your info someone from MHB will call you back!

The pre-orders I've made in the past = you will get notification when the bags arrive and then you will be charged for the bag and get a shipping notification! It's SUPER great customer service and very easy to deal with!

Geez, one day delivery time? I live in Norcal and it takes 5-7 (usually 7)days for my Tanos to get to me! If you don't like it, MHB has a pretty clear-cut return policy. I have the blueberry (boogie) and I love the color.

Well, I live in Brooklyn, New York, so that is why i would get it in one day. upstate NY to NYC via UPS only takes one day-pretty cool huh?

The only reason why I am nervous about it is because i read somewhere on here that somebody said they saw the blueberry color in person and thought it looked "cheap", other than that, I think I will like it, I have a thing for blue bags.

I don't think the blueberry looks cheap, definitely NOT like vinyl as the ONE person posted. There are a couple of us who actually HAVE the blueberry IRL and none of us have described it as cheap. If you are lover of blue, the blueberry will not disappoint.

As with any product, Tano bags arent for everyone. Tastes vary, and what appeals to you depends largely upon what you are accustomed to.

The Tano SF is one of the nicest, friendliest places on TPF. We're all pretty careful to not say things that could hurt other people's feelings. But once in a while a newcomer will pop in and make a mean remark. :(

The bottom line is, dont go by what other people think. Make your own desision based upon what YOU like! :)

I live in the Pacific NW and am anxiously awaiting my first tano... I was hoping it would arrive today, but from what you're saying, I shouldn't hold my breath. I'm having a LOT of trouble waiting, and I'm usually very patient!

You probably have a similar wait time as me. The bags go from New York to New Jersey, through Illinois and slowly journey westward. From Illinois (probably through Salt Lake City) I've had the next UPS hub be both City of industry (SoCal) and San Pablo (NorCal Bay Area/Richmond). I get my bags about 1 day earlier if they come from San Pablo. The wait is worth it, but it is very hard when people start posting pictures and talking about bags they've already received. I'm very impatient as you can see and constantly track my packages.

I already have one Tano bag, the Pavlov's Frog in pool (yes, i am a sucker for blue bags!) and i love it! I wasn't sure about Tano bags either at first, but, there is a store near me that sells tons of them and once I saw them in person, I liked them. They are vastly different from my MJ bags, but, very nice.
