That green is beautiful!!! I think all the rustic leathers have that going on. I have a Biasia that has lighter/darker highlights.

Ohhhh you got the Carte Blanche in amethyst, this is the one I am considering! I am having the hardest time making up my mind which fall bag to choose. The velvet leather in purple is so beautiful.

That's one hot bag! Color is sassy in this style of bag and the marbled leather makes it look much more expensive than it is. Imagine all the outfits that could go with that... all the summer florals, tribal prints, that extra pop to business suits, not to mention jeans and a cute tiered mini.

Right there with ya, Linda, I was looking at the same bag in amethyst... but it's got two handles, faux-pas for me. I might just have to sacrifice some comfort...

Oooo I love this shape! What a gorgeous bag in a gorgeous color. Decisions decisions! amethyst or grape for me???! I wonder if the amethyst shows scratches easily? :/

In the Fall line-up, I think someone had said that the Amethyst is the purple for their Velvet leather and Grape for the Crunch leather. An example of Amethyst is the coveted Carte Blanche (Buxom Buddy in Lenny leather) on their Fall 2008 collection. Grape examples are the shiny purple bags.

Ladies, please correct me if I'm off...

I just checked there site and no more bags.... so sad.. oh well, I have the amethyst one coming. I don't actually have it yet, but pre-ordered it from Musthavebag. I can't wait to get it, the color and leather looks so wonderful!!! I was also wanting something in blueberry, raspberry and grape!!! I seriously need a ban~~ lol!

You can contact Alexandria at musthavebag.com about a pre-order for the Carte Blanche, the amethyst is GORGEOUS! Nope, I see nothing wrong with choosing the same style bag and varying colors.

This season (Spring 2008- ie lady linda's white buxom buddy) the lenny leather is different- its quite even toned and not as puddly. Last season (Fall 2008- ie aznaljl's amazon green buxom buddy) the lenny was much more variegated in color and much smooshier. Some people prefer the lenny of this season since it isnt as "irregular', and others prefer last season's version since it was more "rustic".

With Tano, white bags are often not as soft as other colors as they require SOOOO much pigment to get truly white- that does stiffen the leather somewhat.

Lenny is not in the Fall 2009 lineup- velvet will take its place.

Default Difference between Tano Bags

What is the difference between Tano Carte Blanche and Tano Caste Your Vote. I see a difference in the strap and wonder if there is a size difference and a different type of leather.

What a fabulous color! I'm so glad I found a brand of purses that makes such gorgeous, rich, vibrant greens! Congrats on a sensational bag!

Wow, that had never occurred to me, but that is really true. White bags from almost every brand I've seen always seem a little stiffer. Thanks for the info!

Gorgeous bag- congrats!

The Fall lenny (ie the amazon green boxom buddy) was much more wrinkled and had a lot more tonal variety than the spring lenny (ie the winter white buxom buddy). The lenny bags (and cloud and straw) are always lined in a neutral cotton- crunch bags are the ones with the colorful contrasting linings.
