I Think I Want a Three Fer!!!

So I recently got a Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Clutch and am loving how it makes the perfect weekend bag. It's oversized so it holds all my weekend essentials..plus the strap is adjustable so it can be shoulder carried or cross-body for hands-free. The only catch is the color is Sea Green. I love the Sea Green but it doesn't always coordinate ya know?

So I've been trying to hunt down a black one but they seem to be sold out everywhere. So this evening I went on to MHB to gaze at my Mandarin Boogie (Yes stock photos are my bag porn when I'm waiting for my fix, lmao!!) and I happened to see the Three Fer!!!

OMG, she is perfect!!! Perfect size and a shoulder strap and longer strap to wear cross-body!! It's a really cool funky style....I'm in LOVE with the all black and the silver hardware just pops!!! I want this!!! In fact, I'm gonna email MHB right now to see when they expect this color in stock. Right now they just have Blueberry, Pomegranate and Licorice (Black) listed. Oh and I almost forgot the best part....it's HALF the price of the RM!!!

Knasarae, you are just too funny. I'm on a ban too and I found myself cruising different purse sites including MHB trying to justify another purse. I was even on eBay, ready to hit the buy button on a Tano MWYR but didn't because the live.com discount wasn't working. I like the RM clutch as well but am not a fan of the seafoam green. I'm also kind of wary of RM.com because of the lack of updates on orders and lack of notification of shipments. The clutch would coordinate great with the MAM/MAB, but then again you wouldn't wear both bags together anyways. Hope you 3fer comes soon! I think everybody needs some kind of cross-body/messenger/hands free bag. I might look into a Mona Lethal or Petite Larceny once my ban is up (I'm trying for Oct-Nov). I haven't decided if the ban should extend to small leather goods like wallets and organizers though.

Luna Boston has the black right now if you can't wait. It's more expensive than MHB but if you use grechen it should bring it down to about 162.00 I think.

Cool! I'm not in a super hurry other than my own impatience. I can wait for MHB and then just do a price match. This bag is so cool...I can't wait to get it!

Oh and kmh1190, I know exactly what you mean about RM.com. I have heard several stories that made me very cautious (I pre-ordered a Wine Nikki). But fortunately for me she arrived yesterday right on time and is perfect. Which is funny, since I've decided not to keep her. But my clutch I got from ShopBop. There was no way in hell I was gonna pay $20 for slow shipping of that little thing. Unfortunately RM.com is a last resort for me.

I tried to exchange my Mandarin Boogie for it. I realize it wasn't in stock yet I thought they would just refund me the difference. But I had a message last night that they couldn't do that so I guess I will just get a refund and order it when it arrives.

It's a cool looking bag....I'd get one if it was more a shoulder bag than a messenger.

I wouldn't have thought I liked the messenger style, but I really really do. They hang long and lean and stay close to the body so they don't go bouncing off the hip and are totally hands free. I think the messenger is made to be a shoulder bag, rather than just a bag that fits over the shoulder - makes it really comfy. If I could, I would definitely get the Three Fer in the blueberry, or even the grape maybe. I am going to keep my eyes out for left-over three fers if any ever go on sale - if you don't buy it now, I will later!
