Default I just got my new Boogie!

I decided to go for pomegranite, as I saw one for sale on a board I belong to, so it was cheaper than buying from a shop. It is BNWT though.

The first great thing is- I wasn't charged import duty, so that has made this bag extra special.

The second great thing is- I love this bag! I wasn't sure about the strap drop form reading the dimensions online, but when I tried it on, it hung beautifully even though the leather hasn't been broken in yet. So when it is broken in, it will feel even more gorgeous on my shoulder.

I love the way it looks hanging on my shoulder and I just love the size and colour.

I wish it had a bigger leather pocket inside to hold my keys and a few other small bits. I think I've been spoilt by the fab organisation of the UCAP. But it's a small, small gripe, I still love it.

I think I'll be buying one of the Boogalikes (can't remember the style name) from the Spring collection- with the two outside pockets, as I think this would be my perfect Boogie. (Even though I think the outer pockets kind of spoil the lines of the bag).

I can totally see what you guys see in this bag. It's beautiful. It feel like a work of art rather than a bag. Does this sound weird? Probably!!!

If anyone is unsure about whether to take the plunge and by a Boogie, I'd say go for it- it feels so comfy on my shoulder already and really finishes off an outfit.

My name's Sally and I'm a boogaholic!

Bravo and congratulations Sally!! I hope you'll post a photo soon. I ALMOST went for a Boogie for my first Tano bag.... the exact same one that you chose. You've convinced me, my next purchase will have to be a Boogie. I feel like I won't truly be in the Tano club without one.

I can just see us passing one another in an airport - with a nod of recognition. Congrats again on your new Tanobaby.

.... There's an artist that I know who is doing work with wearable technologies - especially handbags and umbrellas - where she puts small RFI tags and small twinkling lights into them so that the handbag "recognizes" other handbags(that she's designed) with the same technology. When they're in proximity they twinkle at each other...

When I think about the Boogie fans, I see their eyes twinkling with the same kind of recognition.

yay Sleepy! i have several Boogies and love them like crazy! And I totally agree with what you said about the new one having the outside pockets, I think it WILL ruin the lines and hide all that pretty leather in the front. I don't know if you saw the other threads from TE, but they might not be making the Boogie next spring, so that's why I am in "hoard" mode! Enjoy your BB, it only gets better with time!!

So true Watson's Mom...I am seriously considering the Pomegranate which is very strange considering I have NEVER carried a red bag. Bought plenty of them just never and always returned/sold. It has to be a true red and not bright. I'm also considering Raspberry.....and Mandarin and Blueberry and Pineapple, lol!

they are ALL such nice colors. I am patiently awaiting my mandarin and was THIS CLOSE to buying a pom, but I guess it's the black trim that stops me - I can't look at that combo without thinking of a checkerboard! But that raspberry, ooooooooo! And I have the blueberry and it's AMAZING!!!!! aren't we nuts!!!

It's kind of like 'the sisterhood of the Boogie!'

Pom is a truly gorgeous colour, it really says 'autumn' to me. It really makes an outfit, and kind of pulls it together.

So, are we the 'Boogie Babes'?

Congratulations Sally! Pom is a beautiful red (I know because there is a beautiful pom french nanny sitting boxed up in my closet to be given to mom for x-mas. It's taken a lot for me not to wear it). Enjoy that beauty!

Congrats Sally! The pom boogie sitting near a store opening made me do a double take a few months ago... so so so gorgeous; absolutely the most beautiful red and I love the black trim! Congrats again!
