by Tano? Did you just stumble across it? Did a friend have one that you couldn't stop thinking about?

I found out about TANO on TPF. Than I found Musthavebag and loved the vibrant colors. My first couple of TANOS were from eBay. I loved those and ordered more from MHB. I have/had about 15 Tanos now, and looking forward to adding a grape/raspberry soon.

I was innocently hanging out at MUA's Fashion Board, and someone mentioned the Boogie Bucket. I took one look, fell in love, headed over here to tPF for confirmation. When I came to, I had ordered 2 boogies and special ordered a 3rd, and was chewing on my credit card!!

I was hanging out in the Handbag forum and found one of the Tano Threads there. I started reading the threads, fell in love with some of the styles and then ordered my first bag - Drizzle Gray Goody Bag. My second, third and fourth bags were from musthavebag.com. I guess I now have the Tano Bug. I am so glad we have our own sub-forum now.

I also stumbled across one of the Tano threads in the General handbag forum last year. I was immediately attracted to the Boogie but I thought the leather would be too shiny and for the price I felt like it would be cheap. I finally re-stumbled into the Tano subforum a few months ago and so many people were gushing over them. When I saw the color Lawn I had to take a chance. And the rest is history!

I'm new to tPF and Tano. Seem to be totally addicted to both so far. I can't wait to get a Sexbomb. So far it's my fav. Will have some time to decide on the color while I recover from an expensive move. Can't wait.

We have a thread on this already: How did you discover Tano bags?

Can a mod merge these two perhaps?

Isn't that how it feels sometimes, though? Like all of a sudden, I ordered more Tanos!! How in the heck did that happen??? I just did it this morning! I ordered a Truffle Boogie to replace the Grape Boogie that I sold!!!

Oh, to answer the question, I learned about Tano (and tPF) on another bag forum. I don't know if I'm allowed to name other forums, so I won't. :) It took months of looking at them before I actually took the plunge. Soooo glad I did! :)

I was clicking away on the different designer boards and got to Tano. I had never heard of the brand but I loved the variety of colors that were offered. I was especially intrigued at the thought of "crunch leather". I liked a few styles instantly but it was the Sexbomb that caught my eye. To date I only have one Tano (my first and only so far- Pom SB) but I hope to add a Boogie to my collection very soon.

I was walking around Belmont Shore in Long Beach and ran into Francescas Collection, and I looked to my right slightly after walking into the door and saw a tag that said Tano, I thought to myself, Hey thats on TPF! So I checked it out.. and loved it. It was a green Holly Would, and I got it couple days after! It still is the first and only tano bag I've seen in person. Also the first Tano design I've ever seen.

I believe my path to Tano was this: Looking up another brand's wallets, I found the Luna Boston website. Saw photos of Tano bags there - oh my, the colors, the glossy leather, the affordable prices! I must have googled Tano and found TPF that way, and then made my way to this subforum. I now own four Tanos - an apricot Flapjack, a fudgesicle French Nanny, a pool Boogie and a Blueberry Minilisa. Only carried the Flapjack so far. All are just beautiful. I wish I could post photos, but I don't have a camera at the moment - one day.

Thank you all for the great information and enthusiasm you've shared! I discovered TPF while going through hard times with a family member's illness and I have looked forward to reading this forum and enjoying everyone's photos as a great relief to all the sadness.

I'm so sorry to hear about your family member's illness. I have just been through the same thing (still am, really). It's lovely to have a little "escape" where you can just have fun while still being accessible to your family. Best vibes to you.

just out of curiosity MamaToJakers, why did you sell the grape boogie? it seems to be THE Tano to get this season. Saw one IRL yesterday and it was beautiful, but I too am thinking about the Truffle (or fudgsicle FN).
