Hey all! I just wanted to thank you for all the interest and for some purchases of cHaRm vOOdOO dolls. I created the names of all the dolls and was so impressed that someone recognized the history of Hattori Anyhow, if you have any questions about the dolls and charms, let me know. My personal faves are Hanna the Heart Hunter, Hallo Kitty and Cleo the Little Mummy. I have some really cute handmade rabbits too, it's from a fabric art specialist named Bono and are cleverly named Bono Bunnies. http://http://charmvoodoo.com/index.php?cPath=53

Believe me, I'm a database of useless information. I grew up watching Shadow Warriors because my mother thought it was the greatest thing (she's from Japan). Love the dolls!

Side note- but do you think these charms really have "powers"?

^^Probably not. It's fun to think that they do but they likely don't. Since I'm not actually all-knowing, however, I can't say for sure! I do, however, think that sometimes there's 'signs' telling you things that are sometimes more clear than others.

In this instance I was browsing the Charm Voodoo website... I liked a lot of them and was trying to decide if I was going to order or not....when I found the "Rachel Pass of Love Doll". My DD's name is Rachel and here's the description of the doll:

WHAT CAN RACHEL DO FOR YOU - I will make sure that people you run into each day are kind and loving towards you. I am the gentle soul that gives of herself in order to bring others happiness. Carpe diem! Accessories include felt wings on Rachel's back and a felt heart pillow with gifts attached.

That sealed the deal..... I bought this one for my Rachel to put on her bags and 2 others for us to share!

Not at all. I've seen these sold on other sites, none of which attributed any "powers" to them at all. It is a cute marketing gimmick, that's all.

Thanks Voodoo. You know, it was only afterwards as I was thinking about my question (and wondering if people were going to think that I was nuts )- how apropos my question was considering your screen name and all

I was worried about that, too. I asked HauteMama about that and she told me that they come on a little chain, like the way the Coach tags are attached to the bag.
