Default Does anyone get annoyed by all the brown trim?
Even though I love Tano, I would love it more if there were more trimmed bags available in the black trim. I feel like black matches more of my wardrobe. There are certain bags I look at and can't comprehend why they picked brown.

I think that's why I like the Sex Bomb cause there is no trim.

I really want a Boogie one day...but every time I like a color it has the brown trim.

I own one brown trim bag and I use it, but over all I want more black.

Absolutely ALWAYS my thoughts! I am constantly watching Ebay for the ones trimmed in black and they are rare!

i was totally averse to the idea of brown trim but i just fell in love with the spring colors and actually don't mind the brown so much! weird!

there's that steam punk in pink lemonade, with black trim on ebay!! i prefer the big, side-detailing of the boogie to steam punk's smaller buckles and straps, but the prospect of something bigger (with black trim) sounds tasty! the buckles, grommets, and laced handle make it look sexy but i wonder how it slouches..

It depends on the color. Some colors demand brown- like orange, yellow and browns. Others colors, like red, blue, green, purple bink and black can go either way. I keep encouraging tano to do half the crunch in black trim and the other in brown trim to cover all the bases. This season some of the plum jelly and berry blue have black trim, if that helps,,, and the plush bags dont have contrast trim. They, like the sex bomb, are solid colors. im sure a lot of people feel this way. When you wear a lot of black you just arent as likely to buy a brown trimmed bag.

I like both the black and brown trim. I like the little bit of neutral with the amazing colors Tano makes.

I wear black all the time, and I don't care if the trim doesn't match what I'm wearing. I'm a rebel like that.

haha!! i was totally against spring bags, initially, but someone (hissyfit?) said that the brown lends a bit of warmth and i agree with voodoo and oboogie, too!

i wear either almost all black or just plain, weird stuff and combinations that sound jarring, sometimes. like a yellow/white daisy-print dress with ...plum/black argyle tights? it sounds weird but works...or sometimes it doesn't and i pray i don't end up looking like:

I think most of you have learned I love me some black trim! lol

Of course, I do own bags that have brown trim; both light and dark and I like having a variety but overwhelmingly so I'd prefer it to be black. Also, I don't see why trim on yellow bags has to be brown... I would ADORE a bright yellow french nanny with black trim... wouldn't that be adorable!?

I think Tano has it right 90% of the time as far as the trim goes. Certain colors may look too harsh with black trim, know what I mean? I think that the dark brown trim softens the whole look of the bag. I personally don't care for the lighter brown trim but I love the dark brown trim. The one color that should by all means have black trim is if the bag itself is black.

Call me the odd man out, but I prefer brown trim! I used to wear a LOT of black (shocker, me being a NY'er, right?) but I've moved away from it. It's just so harsh to me now. I think part of what changed for me was learning how to dress myself a bit better, so I don't automatically fall back on black and ____ (where the ____ was usually red). I definitely wear more brown than black now, but I guess the neutral I wear most of is probably gray (followed by brown) unless denim counts, ha.

Anyway, that being said, there were a few bags I didn't buy last year because of the black trim! I am particularly bummed about not being able to get a Raspberry or Pink Lemonade French Nanny with brown trim.

I'm not completely anti-black trim. I wouldn't have bought myself the Grape GW, but my Mom picked it out for me, and now I adore it!

I would love it if they would listen to you! lol

I just want more options. I can see someone who wears a lot of khakis and earth tones liking the browns...but that is so the opposite of my style.

I think the Sour Cherry really should have had a black trim. I also think some more pinks and a few other colors could benefit from black. I do notice they give a lot of purple bags black trim, but it's the one color I don't need. lol.

I agree orange bags do need brown or it will look like Halloween lol.

Cause I do like wearing a dark outfit and then throwing in a hot colored bag as contrast...but then when you have black outfit, bright bag and random brown trim it's almost too many colors.

Fendi, you and I are total opposites!

Last year I was sad that the Pomegranate and Raspberry had black trim, and this year you're sad that Sour Cherry and Pink Lemonade have brown! I guess it's a good thing they switch off, huh? It makes everyone happy!

Oh did the pomegrante stuff have black trim??

I didn't even notice lol.

I bought a Ruby bag last season no trim...so i probably ignored the other reddish bags.

This is unrelated...but I saw in another forum...you said the number of bags you had.

Is there a thread that has all your Tano pics? It would be like a store! I wanna see
