Oh, and should I use a cleaner on it before I use the mink oil? And/or spray it afterwards? I saw they had both a Kiwi cleaner and a protectant spray at Target as well, though the mink oil says it waterproofs leather.

Yup, the lingo is simply the boogie with a zip. And there's a bella leather boogie with a zip, too. Its called "up to there."

Do you know this bag? It's more of a turquoise color, not BH bright like the pic.

Hi TE! Long time, no pester.

I need some crossbody assistance, if you would be so kind. The Tossing Roses looks smaller than the Mona Lethal, but it's more costly so I was wondering if it's actually larger?

Also, how does the London Edition compare for size?

I have a Three Fer and a Getting Warmer, and I need something in between that preferably was produced in Espresso. I'm not sure that I am a fan of the Petit Larceny, though. Is it the right size? Is anything else in between those? Thanks!

London edition Mona lethal or Tossing roses would do nicely for you... all are smaller than the GW.

ML and TR are about the same size. Price isnt always size related :)

Hey beeb -- I'm not a tano expert, but my style of choice is crossbody. Just ordered a getting warmer, have a mona lethal, saw petit larceny in real life.
Getting warmer is the biggest, more east west
Mona lethal is smaller, more north south, not as deep...it's a tich bigger than a regular sized magazine
PL is smaller.. a couple inches bigger than a paperback, but "thin" like the ML
Have you looked into an obvious affection - it's less "messenger-y", and rounded and feminine -- I love mine. Modeling pics are under the "my tano family" thread

other differences, GW has shoulder strap and crossbody strap, ML and PL, long ajustable strap, obvious affection can't go as long, but is adjustable

kazmodo gave a good answer, but the PL is definitely bigger than the three fer and smaller than the Mona Lethal.

All three bags are north/south in orientation (meaning that they are taller than they are wide)

ML is 14 high x 12.5 wide, PL is 12 high x 11 wide, TR is 14 high x 11 wide.

Oops. The tag is not the graffiti tag but a block lettering and says Tano New York. I'm guessing a Barneys special?

The Tano new york label is an older tag... its probably 4-5 years old. The tano bags made for barneys were labelled either Tano for Barneys New York, Barneys or Tano.
