Hey TE! I got a question....
Before I discovered the Boogie, I see that Tano produced it in another leather called the Cookie Bucket? Do you think they will ever do that again? (Boogie in a different leather?) Don't get me wrong I love the Crunch....but it would be nice to have a "special edition" Boogie too.

Hey knas, my ROAK buddy :)
At the moment there are no other versions of the boogie that I know of in the works, but who knows what the future will bring? In the past there was the cookie bucket (cloud leather), old school (woven leather), woogie bucket (tag leather) and flip side (cracked ice) and perhaps even some others that don't come to my mind immediately... |

Totally random question....On the "sweet as pie" bag... are the o-rings connecting the straps to the bag itself the hinged kind?

Hi TE!
How is the new Espresso Crunch leather compared to the Truffle? |

TE: The new plush leather that is coming out....do you feel it's a leather you would want to treat (to weather/dirt proof it) prior to carrying the bag?
Love you! |

ok, here we go:
tk- yes, the sweet as pie has the hinged rings voodoo- i probably would not treat the plush leather with anything but its my impression that it would stain more easily than crunch. Thats just my impression, though. We wont know until people start using their plush bags and posting about how they wear. baghag411, the two shades of brown are very similar. As with the yellow, you would have to see them next to each other to distinguish them from each other. Truffle was my favorite brown, so Im glad its similar. TE |

TE-regarding the plush leather...is it at least a little "pebbly" compared to fall 08's velvet leather, or is it completely smooth like the velvet? I LOVE pebbled leather and was not a fan of the velvet...I passed up a grey bag I had been wanting for a while last night on ebay, holding out for the smog Biker Babe...
are they definitely going to make the BB? And if they are, do they make them in all the colors they post, or do they pick certain colors as time gets closer to production? I really would love that smog, as I have been looking for just the right grey bag for about two years!! And the poppy is pretty hot, too! TIA, you're the best! |

The plush texture will not be entirely smooth. There is some grain to it. When leather is washed, the grain changes. There will be wrinkles and pronouced "pebbly" areas to the bags, but each one will be somewhat unique as always, KWIM? But I definitely wouldnt classify it as a "pebbled leather"- pebble grain leathers are typically "milled"- its an artificial texture that's imposed upon the leather. The plush leather's grain is natural- the leather is just drum dyed with oiled pigments and then the bags are washed post production.

It looks like they are making it in smog- yes. Plush color wise, tano is tweaking the poppy, azul, sun and pesto, but the smog, wine, puurple haze, chocolate, black and bone are all staying as is. |
