Default Apricot vs Mandarin

Ok guys, my Mandarin Boogie arrived today! And as gorgeous as she is, unfortunately I will not be keeping her. I should've listened to Alex...the colors are waaaay too close. In fact, I literally took about 50 pictures and in most of them they looked the exact same color. IMO, the Mandarin is deeper which makes it appear a tad browner. But really not enough to tell. In fact, the only reason it was so easy for me to tell them apart was because mine is used and the handles are darker (though I do think this lighter brown leather trim looks better). So I'll be sending mine back I'm gonna exchange it for the Three Fer I saw yesterday.

Apricot on left, Mandarin on right (with flash)

Difference in the leather trim

A little closer with flash

I will go on record as saying I prefer the Mandarin. But not enough to go through the hassle of selling my Apricot. Hope this helps for anyone else who is wondering...

oh bummer, knasarae. the three fer is super-cute, though. Are you getting it in the mandarin too?

Just checked the pics of the Three Fer at LB. It's very cute! Lots smaller than the Boogie, though, yes?

Nice to know this. So those who missed out on Spring's apricot should be happy with Fall's Mandarin. I guess it wasn't meant to be, but atleast you are going to get another bag that you want!

Yes, the Three Fer is a lot smaller. I plan on using it as a weekend bag for shopping, errands, etc. And I'll be getting it in black. I had already planned on buying it so this way it's already paid for! Lol!

Knasare, both your boogies are gorgeous. I think you are right though
in that they are too similar in coloration. Congrats on your new Three
Fer that is coming. I love the style of that bag but it is just too small for me.
Please do post pictures when you receive her.

They are very close but I think I like the mandarin better with the lighter trim.

Thanks for the pics! I think I actually like the apricot better since I like the darker trim.

^^I agree, I think I like the darker trim better also. And thanks to Knasarae for saving the rest of us from ordering practically the same bag.
