When was the first time you said it to your SO and why that time?

My bf said it to me 7-8 months after we starting dating.
Why at that time? I think we both felt it for a while and it was one of those things no one wants to say first hah!

My SO said it to me about 5 or 6 months after we started dating. My response was "thank you". I think I said it to him the next month. He was surprisingly ok with me not saying it back, but I had to think about it a bit. I had never been in love with anyone before and I think I read too many romance novels to know what love in real life was supposed to feel like.

BF said it to me after 2 month. I think it took my previous BF 1 year to say he loved me and 6 months before he called me his girlfriend. I should have seen that as a sign.

we had known for awhile that we liked each other, had long talks and just were waiting for the right circumstances. we said we loved each other from the start.

and we celebrated 7 years yesterday. :)

Gosh it's been almost 12 years, can't remember when... but I know that with him and with anyone you love really, say it when you truly feel it.. because you want to tell the person and have them know it. Truly loving a person is about giving without the expectation of receiving. Took me a while to figure that one out and it's amazing how everything can then just fall right into place.

We said it to each other after dating for about a week. I think when you know, you know! We're now married and have been together for more than 4 years. :)

I think my DBF and I said it to each other after about 3 months. It was so cute-we were sitting on the couch and he kept stuttering and babbling until he finally spit it out XD

Whenever you feel it's right! Some people say it on the first date, some need longer... the most important thing is to MEAN it when you say it and that you also show it. Anybody can say those words - what truly matters is that you SHOW them.

I told my DH I luv U when I am sure of my feelings about 1 week into the date; I knew him from work 3 months prior and wanted to date him since I first set eyes on him (knew he is the one). I am always honest like that... I asked him out too BTW; and the reason I waited till 3 months after is b/c I thought he actually was dating someone (but he wasn't the whole time; what wasted time).

I wrote it in a bathroom stall (classy i know)...i wrote inside a heart (i love him and he has no idea). we were joking around that night and i told him i wrote a secret in the bathroom stall...nearly a month later, he told me he was falling in love with me, and i confessed that i wrote that on the wall a month earlier...we went back to that bar at a later date, and I took the picture of the writing and sent it to him...its now his wallpaper on his computer.
