my last ex and I had a song, he was the one who decided.
I never told him that that exact song always made me think of my former best friend, though, it was kind of "our" song too

I asked, "Hey, do we have a song?" And he said, "A what?" And I said, "A song, you know, like couples have a song?" He said, "You must have seen that commercial." I replied, "What commercial?"

At any rate, we don't have a song. LOL. I wouldn't think most couples do. Maybe we SHOULD have a song. Maybe when I see him later I'll say, "We have a song now." I would cast my vote for "Inside My Love" by Minnie Riperton because, well, it's a GREAT song. But it's "my" song and I don't know if I'd want to share it. I have a few "songs" of my own, though (think Elaine's BF on that episode of Seinfeld when "Desperado" came on the radio and he just sat there and couldn't move, he could only listen, and later she tried to make "Witchy Woman" their song, because he didn't want to share "Desperado"...lmao). I have other songs but I don't want to share those either. In fact, the more I think about it, the more "having a song" kind of gives me the willies...

This cracked me up! It totally reminds me of something that my boyfriend would say to me.

My boyfriend actually picked out our song. He heard it and said it reminded him of us
