I have been alone many weekends. It does get boring sometimes and I have never been that great at making friends. Here are some things I would do. I would fix up my apartment and go drive to many places in the surrounding area finding new things to make it perfect such as pictures, vases, etc. I found some things on craigslist and even made a friend that way. I would bake. I made all sorts of yummy cookies and cakes . I would often share these with people at my job. I liked to read at home and at barnes and noble. I would rent movies, take baths, try out new hairstyles and new makeup looks. I went to art museums drove to the beach a few times. I would visit the nearby park and feed the ducks. I went to a lot of petshops to play with the animals. I would bring supplies and visit with animals at our local animal shelter. I made some friends this way as well. I treated myself a lot when I was single. I often got pedicures and had my hair done a lot. I ended up going out with one of my hairdressers a few times to social events. There are so many things to do but it does get lonely and I found going out to many places gave me more of a chance to find friends and people to do things with.

If I'm not with my boyfriend, usually it's reading! I love love love to read and without any distractions, I could finish a whole book in one night!!!

I'll go to the gym late, then grab takeout and come home and relax. Its usually my time to get caught up on magazines, email etc. With my job..its just nice sometimes to come home to quiet and not have anything to do.

I like being at home on the weekends, maybe some wine and renting a movie with my boyfriend. Walking the dog or changing the house around.
