I've told my ex once to just get a nanny and a blowup doll, and the doll not for sex but to do everything with him like he wanted. Heck, he can even change dolls every year. This is essentially what he wanted in a gf. That probably says it all.

For a real man, I'd say sex, someone to share good and bad times with, someone to care for, and someone who makes him feel cared for. Sometimes I think they also want an excuse to do girly things, like going to spas.

I love giving massage but my SO hates getting them. What guy resists massages?! So weird!

I am going to add "man time" to this list (meaning time with buddies and NO women), otherwise I agree 100%!!

I've been delegating some of these tasks to others (i.e., cooking, laundry, cleaning, foot massages), much to my b/f's delight (he says I nag less). When I am saving money for new clothes or bags, I give my "helpers" a vacation. I guess I am trying the "hit the two birds with one stone" technique. It's exhausting to be a woman!

they want someone who is truly happy to see them when they come home. don't lay the problems of the day on them right away, give them a beer and some food first...and if it has been a very difficult day, a quick bj doesn't hurt.

they are very simple, we make it complicated.

Sometimes, I really think my hubby would be happy with a TV and remote. But most of the time, I think he just loves sharing his life with someone. It's like you have more purpose when you're living with another person in your heart and mind. He protests all my crap in the bathroom, but secretly I think he likes it. He likes having someone to talk to, snuggle with, argue with, shop with, spend time with, take care of, etc. Men also need lots of ego-boosting. They want to know that they're the sexiest man on earth, and that we really need them in our lives.

Well, first off, no matter how much you want to generalize, all men don't want the same thing. I mean, yeah, we want sex and someone to clean and cook, but there's a lot more. Hell, I can get any girl to have sex with me and do the dishes, what else can you offer?
When it comes down to it, you usually figure it out when you start dating and get to know them better. If you can't figure it out, then you're probably not destined to be together.

To be thanked. Men love it when women are grateful...even for little things.
