What is an appropriate gift idea to send a man who is ill?

I am looking for a creative gift that I can give to my boyfriend. He purchased a second home at the beach. Price does not matter. Any ideas?

When my mum was ill and confined to bedrest for 4 weeks, I bought her a dvd boxset of her favourite tv show 'absolutley fabulous'
maybe you could pick him up a boxset of his favourite show? the time really would fly by for him!

DVD boxed sets are great, ITA.

My dad's friend had knee surgery and was on bedrest, so he sent him an Edible Arrangements cookie basket. It was a big hit (especially since the cookies were in the theme of his favorite football team).

A Netflix subscription could work too.

Flowers for the ill man, I find that they secretly love flowers, just that they don't dare to admit it. And lots of tender loving care. Things that don't cost money is often the most precious. Hope your bf feels better soon.
