I have been trying for the last few nights to get pictures uploaded to tPf and it's not been working. I'm gonna try it again and if I can't I'll drop in a link to my flickr or something.

But anyway....there has been a ton of work happening around there. We got ceilings painted, we removed cabinet doors removed, cleaned and sanded (which was a job in and of itself) we've caulked around all the doors (they were all hanging an inch and a half away from the wall!) We've spackled all the holes in the walls (which were many) removed all the wall paper from the walls of the kitchen and bathroom. I cleaned the tile in the bathtub, but only a preliminary clean cause I have to clean it again when it's all painted and ready to go, we bleach watered all the mold, and now we are on the hunt for cheap, but good quality applinaces. We opened the refridgerator door for the first time a week ago and noticed that the inside of the door was all broken out. Boo. Not good. There is still a ton of work to do.

We're getting new appliances, new hardware for the cabinets, new doorknobs (all these are rusted out), new light fixtures....there's so much to do but I am loving every minute of it!!! The more we're over there the more I see it as HOME.

When I think about how life is going to be in 3 months, I can picture it inside the house and I love that idea.

cute house missy - lots of potential!

and i LOVE that pink and white bathroom vanity, glad you guys decided to embrace the pink. i think a nice brown on the walls would look great in there.

the mold on the back of the closet walls... that would be scary!

Awww, it's so cute and I love that it's all brick. It kind of reminds me of our first house. We had a carport like that too and we put our grill and patio furniture on it for an instant covered porch.

That's what we're doing too Tammy. It was definitely a carport at one point, but you can tell it hasn't been used as one in a few decades.
