-I don't have to share the remote

-I don't have to deal with the attitude when me and my friends decide to have a girls night out and go for drinks.

Not if you're not the kind of person who sits in front of the computer a lot.

I am probably on a computer 90-100 hours a week! 50 just from work.

I maintain that 5 hours is a lot when you are hopelessly refreshing your email hoping that someone has accepted your facebook friending! lol... ugh I'm screwed.

yeah, I probably do at least 60% of my work at home on the computer, and I work a good amount of hours. And then I get distracted and play on the internet so it takes me even longer to finish. But yeah, some people come home and don't sit in front of the computer most of the night like I do working (or trying to) and not everyone is a night person like me. I have a friend who told me she stayed up "late" the other night until like 9:00. wtf! To me late is like 4 a.m.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm still waiting for 3 people to respond to my friend request... one request was made in January (but she is a real life friend and not on FB a lot so I guess it doesn't count, lol!) and two other ones this past week...don't worry! If they don't repond they will miss out on something great and they're not really worth it anyway...!! Please don't feel rejected or anything!! And yes, in FB hours 5hrs is a lot, but most people are not on FB time...

LOL! yeah, for me it's the same. I'm a night person too, where late is also 4am. My sister is the opposite and also thinks 9pm is staying up late! haha! I get depressed when I have to go to bed before midnight if I have to make sure I get enough sleep for the next day...

...another great reason to be single: stay up late as long as you want without feeling guilty or being afraid you wake him up!

Zophie, the amount of hours you have to spent behind the comp is insane! Be sure you go outside often...walk in the park or something...sit on a bench with some coffee...maybe you'll meet someone nice...I know it's stupid advise...but maybe you work to much? Don't forget to also live this beautiful life you have!! Enjoy the sunshine!!

Yeah, I usually do have a lot of work and I actually try to walk in the park whenever I can. I always see cute guys driving when I'm walking to and from the park, just don't know where they go. I probably do work too much but that's sort of just me and how I've always been.

Well, if it makes you happy there's really nothing wrong with that. Just remember that cute nice guys won't come knocking on your front door...you have to go out to meet them...(I'm in the same boat as you though...)

Another good reason to be single: you can spend as much time as you want in the bathroom pampering yourself without anyone being bothered about it!

I've just always been sort of a workaholic. I do meet a lot of guys when I go out and take depositions (like the FB guy, ha!) but nothing ever comes of it really. I just don't know where to go meet them. I mean I can't just go to some great place where all the cute guys hang out. Sometimes it gets to me that I'm so good at doing my job but so bad with my social/dating life. It's like I'm a dating retard or something.

In a way it's really good I'm single because someone would have to be really understanding and happy doing his own thing a bit to put up with my schedule. I couldn't date someone who is a 9 to 5 guy and wants to hang out most days after work. I can't imagine just working a regular 40-hour schedule.

50-hour schedule is the new 40-hour schedule! At least where I live...

I am a workaholic too, I wish I weren't sometimes. Nothing from FB yet. You?

IMO, and based on personal experience, workaholism is both the cause and effect of something else. It's a way to cope with "now," and one many of us live to regret "later."
