I like the fact that I don't have to worry about anyone else's social calendar and I only have to go out with people that I want to go out with. If for any reason I don't want to go out, it isn't a big deal. I'm not interfering with anyone else's plans for the evening. On the flip side, if I just want to go out and grab a drink with a friend, I can do that too!

My ex used to love watching America's Next Top Model, which I find torturing to watch. Anyway, I was never very good at hiding thoughts. At first I tried the whole 'ok i'll pretend like it's not bad'. But eventually, she started watching it in another room on her computer because every time it was on I would say something like "why do you watch this? it's so bad compared to project runway."

I actually met her parents first because they were checking out the building for her, and I offered to show them what my apartment looked like, so I know her parents like me, lol (this was before I knew their daughter was absolutely adorable). Anyway, I may or may not have gotten her last name from looking at a packing sitting outside her door. And I may or may not have used it to look her up on facebook, but I haven't added her yet either.

Being single is good because you don't have to share ice cream or chocolates. Also, you can eat popcorn in bed while watching crappy downloaded tv shows.

My mentor definitely has said to me "I don't understand why my wife needs $600 shoes". hah.

I love being single because I can eat whatever I feel like, with out having to have to give up food cravings just because the SO "doesn't feel like sushi tonight" or "would rather not have pizza".
