Yup, it's lonely sometimes!

And oooooh, I hate those questions...argh!! "when will you have babies?" is another one. I wonder if they would ask me those questions if I were a 28 y/o single guy? I guess they would give me thumbs up if I were a guy!

^^^I also enjoy being single! I love being able to sleep in the middle of my bed and not have to worry about someone else's issues. Relationships are work!

Whenever I meet a guy they are like "So you don't have a boyfriend or husband?, why not? I don't believe you!" and i'm like

Yes, not having any extra worries is a And not having to deal with someone's snoring is nice too!!

Just the other day a friend told me she's divorcing. This girl is one week older than me (28) married for 3 yrs and I had no clue her marriage was down the rocks...I am very sad for her, but felt lucky I don't have to deal with that (yet...) I was convinced she had a 'perfect', happy life with him...I was wrong.

I think I would break up with someone instantly once I discovered they snored. I can't sleep at ALL if I am sleeping in the same room as someone who snores.

To extend the conversation, I heard this on the radio this morning:

5 Good Things About Being Single
1. Your body is kept in better shape
2. You are more productive
3. You can do what you want with your money
4. You sleep better
5. You have a better sex life

Thoughts??

well, for #5, I would hope I have a better sex life if I'm in a relationship. Maybe they mean single as in not married, not just single as in no boyfriend.

Hah, yeah I think that is what they mean. Personally I feel #4 and #5 can go both ways. But 1, 2 and 3 I definitely think are true.

1. Yeah maybe I go more often to the gym ! and I enjoy moisturizing, waxing, fake tanning...
2. I´ve got more time for sure (spent online and watching my favorite girly shows !)...no but seriously I redecorate my flat and intend to do more crafty things.
3. Yeah but I struggle to make ends meet, because what we used to share are now on my own....
4. My bed for me alone !!!
5. Like how ?? Unless you´re a hot woman who wants to have casual sexual encounters twice/week I really don´t see how....Unless by better sex life they mean none lol.

I´d add..... I eat whatever I want when I want, I love doing my own stuff or being lazy without anyone else´s judgement, I love not comparing my couple life to other´s, I love going to a restaurant with friends and lots to talk and laugh about instead of blank with SO, I love to wash only my own clothes, and not spend my time tidying someone else´s mess !

I've been single for a year. For awhile I didn't care to have a boyfriend nor was I really looking, but now it's getting a bit lonely for me. I'd like to have one again.

#1 I can see being somewhat true, because people often get comfortable in relationships, and sometimes loose the drive to stay in shape the way they did when they were single and looking.

#2 This can be true also because without the extra responsibility of a relationship there is more focus for personal or professional interests.

#3 In a relationship/marriage this can still be true, guess it depends on the couple.

#4 Absolutely!

#5 Yeah if you consider having sex alone a better sex life

update~ the officer I was telling you all about finally said something to me this morning. I passed his booth and he said "hi there, I heard my partner talked to you" and I said "yea he did was that you he was talking about?" and he said "yes " So I smiled and kept walking.

I went across the street to get breakfast and while I was standing watching CNN on the t.v. in the carryout I saw him coming across the street. He came in and walked over to me and said " so what's your name" I told him and we shook hands. We made some small talk and then when my order was up he said "so you think you have room for one more BFF" I responded "sure" and then we exchanged numbers
