I hope all you girls are having a great weekend!!

I'm having a bleh day so far...the fact that it has been raining here non-stop for the last week doesn't make it any better.

I'm feeling very sorry for myself today, isn't that pathetic? I'm just thinking that I will never fall in love again and that nobody will ever love me...Gosh, writing it down makes me laugh at myself right now! lol! I guess I'm being a bit dramatic, I have a lot to be grateful for. Just need some positivity. I wish the sun would shine and the temperatures would be nice. I wish I could share my weekend with someone sweet.

Hugs to all. For those with dates tonight, enjoy the company!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks spoiled_brat, legsie and juneping!

I'm sorry things didn't work out with your online guy legsie, but it is better to find that out now than later on down the road.

I don't know what it is about this weekend but I've been feeling a bit sorry for myself too! I know it'll pass, but I'm upset that I gained a few pounds from my birthday and I'm sad that I'm still single.

spoiled_brat and PurseAddict, I hope you're both feeling better today

June, I've always loved your kitty paws, which I've told you before. So cute! I have a tuxedo kitty and he has paws just like that.

Fab, I would definitely NOT recommend Eharmony. Complete and utter waste of money. 95% of your matches will be unpaid members who cannot see your pic or initiate contact with you and cannot respond to communication you send to them but until you figure the system out, you have no idea which of your matches are paid and which are unpaid. That site is crap.

I think the caliber of men on PoF leave a lot to be desired, as with any free site.

No real updates with me. E-mailed back and forth with wedding guy but nothing much really going on there. He is still in another state so I don't know if it will work out between us.
But I just had something weird happen to me. I got a communication from someone on EH. I was looking through his pics and he had one of with him and his friend whom I met from match! I went out with his friend a few times but he went MIA.

For all you gals who are having a rough time - if it makes you feel any better I drank a bottle of wine last night, just said F it, I don't want to think about all this relationship crap tonight.

I talked to the guy I'm having dinner with next week - he called to firm up plans and I sort of was turned off by the entire conversation - he's quite a bit older than I am but he was talking to me like I was a freaking child...I'm tempted to just call him and cancel, but I want to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he's just bad on the phone (I hate the phone).

The other two guys I've been talking with have yet to ask me out so I guess I'll just wait and see...one of them I have great conversations with and the other guy we've only emailed but he seems interested in what I'm about, and not just talking about himself incessantly.

Anyways...ugh dating sucks. I just want to find the right guy and be done with it! But I'm not settling...

So... does anybody have any good hangover cures? I got drunk last night and wallowed in self-pity. Good thing I gave my phone to my friend. Well, I took it back at some point but was smart enough not to hit "send" and took my phone apart instead.

Geez... sometimes we are our own worst enemy!

Drink lots of water. Dehydration is the cause of a hangover. If you get in the habit of drinking at least half a glass of water for every drink you have it's less likely that you'll have a hangover to begin with.

Another shot always helps!

I've learned to never carry my phone when I drink. Nothing good ever comes out of it; but its sometimes its nice to use the "I was drunk" excuse to explain your behavior.

I'm nursing a wine hangover today - lots of water, and eating some protein helps. I always fix myself eggs in the morning after drinking.

Ok so no more date next week - the guy called me and started spouting off on his political and religious views (which are pretty much the exact opposite of mine) - and got all judgmental on me when I stated my opinion. Um, no wonder you're single.

So I'm back to just chatting, no dates planned...it's all good though. I'll try to enjoy it.

SB and PA hoping you guys are feeling a little better. So it seems as though last night was drinking night, definitely had one or two too many--knowing full well I had to go to the office today--and well when the alarm went off at 5:30 I thought I was gonna cry. As far as hangover advice goes I wish I had something new to bring to the table, but like the others said TONS of water. I try to drink a glass of water for every drink I have but lately even that isn't helping to ward off the god awful headaches I have been waking up with. Congrats on the control around the phone ladies, I used to be terrible with that. I would always wake up with a million regrets, thank god I learned to put it down. After like a million mistakes I finally realized how much I was embarassing myself.

Odette
at least you found all of this out before you went on the date.

Aww, thanks SB same to you. Feelling better? And yes I think last night was most definitely the tpf single's community drinking night, if we all ever met up I can only imagine the craziness that would follow I think we all have enough stories and the sort to go through bottles and bottles of wine.
