Accents are fresh flowers and swarovski crystals matched to the ones on my wedding gown-- ENJOY!!!

Gorgeous! Just out of curiosity, how much would something like this set you back?

All of these cakes are beautiful! It's so much fun to look at them.

One of the few details I will really care about in planning my wedding is the cake--I'm obsessed with sweets!

GORGEOUS!!

Ive under-estimated wedding cakes. I didnt really know that they could be such beautiful works of art! (I love how some of them share the 'theme' of the wedding with matching flowers and decorations that compliment the wedding dress)
Thanks everyone for contributing, they are all wonderful to admire

Hi Keya,

Here in Manila, average is about $1500-1800 USD converted in Pesos for a cake that size, its about 7 ft in height and would feed up to 300 people. That was 2 years ago, not sure now.

However, we got this in a special package deal with our wedding coordinators, so it came out a LOT cheaper. Great thing because I don't have a sweet tooth when it comes to fondant cakes.

Our coordinators provided the coordination, mood lighting & effects, live entertainment and cake all in one very reasonable package price that made me love them

Its better if you can negotiate many of your wedding essentials into 1 supplier because the discount is so significant and its easier to get everything in place. If I had booked those things individually, it would really blow our wedding budget.

Oh thanks!!! So happy you liked it I wasnt a big fan of fondant cakes, I love the soft buttery kind but I was amused that guests do love them because they are a nice photo background on any wedding. A lot of our guests took their photos with the cake so its a great remembrance to any event

Sigh...these cakes are all so beautiful. I think it would be so fun to decorate and create cakes. I have a friend who is a pastry chef at the Belaggio and she does cakes and things. I love looking at them!

We're leaning towards something like this, with a touch of Hawaiian incorporated some how.. Probably with our yellow and white plumeria flowers some how.

Do you ever want to just buy a cake and dig into it. Not for any special occasion, just to have such an awesome cake? Yum.

Speaking of which, we're going to eat the top of our cake soon. Our one year anniversary is Oct 20!
