my last roomie was my best male friend.

he wasn't too fond of showering so his scent would linger out of his room and invade the apartment. :X

i'd sometimes go in and febreze his room for him (actually everything), i even once sprinkled some fabric powder deodorizer to help but it didn't.

i eventually just would close the door so it wouldn't come out.

he is very nice though.

eta: also, he liked to groom his hair off and leave it everywhere! there would sometimes be drops of blood over the sink area that he wouldn't clean up! i was thinking "how'd you like it if i left drops of menstration blood on the toilet and didn't clean it up?"

i live by myself though so all is good. and if you have seen a pic of my desk area, quite content

A year after I got married my brother in law moved after his divorce in and never moved out. I ended up moving out when I filed for divorce. It was like living in a frat house with 38 year olds.

He never picked up after himself, would leave his dirty laundry on the floor of his room and leave the door open so we all could see. I told him he had to buy the groceries because he ate everything in sight. I won't even go into how nasty his bathroom smelled. And it was guys night at my house everynight.

After I filed and moved out, I emailed my ex sister in law and told her I felt her pain.

Had a roomie one season who was obsessed with rearranging our room. She started by rearranging my furniture when I was gone for the weekend. By the end of the term, she was rearranging my underwear drawer while I was out as well. I caught her snooping through my photo album/bills drawer a couple of times. She was also fond of practicing her German and/or singing soprano vocal exercises beginning at 5am to help her "greet the day!!!!" Grrrrr.

Also had a roommate whose boyfriend pretty much moved into our room. I would wake up in the morning and she would be gone and he would be sleeping. As I tried to change under the covers to get ready for practice, just in case and because he creeped me out, I looked over to see him staring at me. That arrangement did not work out well.
