Default Pda pda pda...
What is PDA anyway???? I would like to know what your thoughts are on PDA. Would you like for your SO/DH/DBF etc to show more PDA or not or it just does not matter. Where do you draw the line?

Your input would be very appreciated.

thank you!

Honestly I get uncomfortable with lots of PDA so I tend not to show PDA other than holding hands, hugs or a quick kiss.

i think it depends on the mood of the people too...the oversexed cant keep my hands off u kinda pda is nauseating, but an intimate kiss in an im so in love with you moment is sweet (even if it includes a little tongue)

i went for a walk on the boardwalk 2 days ago and there was a couple on the bench...the guy was facing the ocean, and the girl was facing him on his lap rubbing his shoulders. they werent making out or anything, but i thought it was SO inappropriate. raunchy and gross.

My DH and I pretty much show no PDA... I think we're beyond that phase. It doesn't bother me, I don't see the point of it really. In my experience, when you have to advertise that you're in love, it's generally not organic love

I agree, these are fine but a full on makeout session in public is just crazy.

I agree.

I love quick kisses or hugs, but that's where we draw the line. I wish that's where all couples would draw the line...

This.

When my sis was younger she and her boyfriend had no sense of what made other people feel awkward. I used to drive them places and they'd just sit in the back smooching (obviously I couldn't see but I could hear, ech), like I wasn't there!!

My DBF will give me a quick kiss/hug, and we usually hold hands in public. Of course, on cold days I'll make him hug me while we're standing around-but I don't really consider that PDA...I get cold easily!

^illinirdhd Ugh I know what you mean. I always seem to be near overly affectionate couples on trains/buses where you can't really look away! Honestly, you don't need to prove to everyone how you feel about each other-save it for when you're alone :S

PDA is totally not my thing, and I sure as hell do not want to see any couples grope each other. The only time I understand this is at a bar when people are completely hammered, then whatever.

Other than a tap kiss or hugs I think it's disgusting, keep intimacy intimate in the privacy of your own home/hotel whatever the case may be.

I think like most things PDA is ok in moderation. DH and I are very affectionate, so I might give him a quick hug, kiss, or whisper in his ear etc... he might give me a pat on the ass, hold my hand, or give me a kiss. I do think it can go over board... I hate to see couples full on making out in public, not only is it gross it makes me uncomfortable. In some moments I can forgive things, like if the couple have just gotten engaged, married etc b/c emotions are high, but just on the regular EWWW!!!
