Only you can know if you should do it or not.
If my parents asked me (even though they never would) I'd probably do it, because I trust them. I have friend though who was burned by her father with a car loan (he stopped making payments). So if you have a bad feeling about it, I wouldn't do it. |

This would be a BIG mistake. Your Mom needs to get a job and buy her own condo. If it's a "credit" issue and your Mom won't qualify for a loan on her own, it's because she hasn't been very good a managing her credit, historically. You need to focus on yourself and your house and beacon score.

Absolutely not! Your mom has no incentive to actually make any payments or be financially responsible for this place, it's your credit on the line.
You can always tell her that there's no way you'd get approved anyway if you already have your own mortgage. |
