I have a guy friend who only seems to befriend women. Does that seem a little weird? He's a good guy, has a good relationship with his parents (esp mom) and has a girlfriend, but I will say he's a little on the flirty side.

He's never been inappropriate towards me, but I find it a little odd. Outside of his family and childhood friends, he doesn't seem comfortable around guys. I've never met anyone like this before, and just wanted to hear other opinions.

My boyfriend is kind of like that. Although his best friend is male and he has two brothers who he is very close with. beside all that he has a lot of female friends.

Hope he is not gay, and I know that he is not cheating (cause I trust him)

The only time I have known guys who have all female friends, the guy turned out to be gay. But I'm sure thats not always the case.

I grew up with a guy who was always abnormally close friends with girls, even from a young age. He turned out to be a homosexual. Great guy, I love him to this day.

I have a friend like this. He does have male friends and loves women - definitely not gay. He just seems to befriend women easier than men.

This particular guy is nice, but he can be whiny and talkative, which is why I think he relates better to women sometimes! :)

JahpsonLoveYou...LOL...don't worry, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

My first thoughts were that he was either gay or a cheater. I've asked him if he's cheated on his GF before because he is quite honest with me, but he denied it.

I think some of his other female relationships can be seen as emotional cheating though, because I've watched so many of them come and go, and the girls seem to be really mad at the end of it.

LOL @ being whiny and talkative. Some straight guys are truly gossips and drama queens!!! I had another male friend that lovvved to talk-but he had equal male and female friends, and he was a bit of a hound dog.

Many of my heterosexual male friends are like this. A couple of my ex boyfriends too. They've all just said that girls are much easier to get along with, and more approachable. Another guy told me he found it a little strange going up to other guys in class to sit with, but not a problem approaching women.

If a man only had female friends, I'd be suspicious. Honestly, do women typically befriend beer-drinking, sport loving, playboy watching straight guys? Not usually, I suspect. Women befriend homosexuals because they are like us...only better. I am sure there are plenty of close friendships between straight men and women....but similar interests between them are mandatory. Either he has to be a metrosexual, or she has to like sports for the friendship to exist.

I have a "friend" like that...I say kind of friend, because he´s just a big FLIRT, and his "friendships" are based on the boost of ego he gets from the ladies.
He has been after me for years too...
He´s the kind of guy with a facebook page full of applications like "send me a kiss, vote for me as sexiest etc..." althought deep down he seems like a genuine but insecure person.
So I´d say take a close look at the kind of friendship he has...
