I dunno, but my Hubby, all our married friend's the husband side have the same trait...
They "mostly" hang out among themselves (male buddies thingy) with an occasional wife/wives thrown into the party. It was never a "mostly" single meeting (by chance or otherwise) between the men and an associated female friend / another buddys' wife. I mean I do occasionally run into a few of my DH's friends as we all live in the same neighbourhood, but it always is a quick hi and then go about our own ways... NEVER a hi lets have coffee / do lunch thing. That husbands hanging out with female friends thing is at least not heard of among my friends... but what they did not tell me, of course I won't know... but I do know most hubby go home pronto to their wives after work, thats the way my DH is & his friends are besides the occasional beer /golf time etc. |

Plus, I commend you on your tolerance...
My husband knows that I will tolerate (the instance you mention) only to a certain degree. It is not even about jealousy for me but the question on if it is seen as appropriate. |

I think it's understandable for you to be a little jealous, especially if you are long distance right now.
