This weekend we were on holiday, we had gone swimming..we came out of the changing room and were going to put our stuff into a locker before going in the pool. I asked my 6 year old son to hold his towel whilst i put my stuff into the locker, he walked off with his goggles and the towel. I finished putting my things in the locker and turned around to see him stood under a shower saying 'wooo' 'this is fuuun' and other such joyful phrases..i then had to point out to him that he was holding the towel which was now wetter than he was!!
We had a good laugh and it was forgotten...
That evening i asked him to look in the wardrobe to see if my shoes were there..he walked to the wardrobe door, looked in the full length mirror thats on the wooden door and announced no, he couldnt see them in there..!!

To be honest though, he does get it from me, i come out with some prrrretty stoopid stuff sometimes!

So, what stupid things have you/your kids/friends etc done..?

^^No, no, I think he didn't open the door to look into the wardrobe - he looked INTO the mirror that was attached to the front of the wardrobe! At any rate - typical little boys, absolutley hilarious, just priceless.

Yep, thats what he did..looked at himself and declared the shoes weren't in the wardrobe lol.
He is a funny kid, half the time by accident-ive caught him posing in front of mirrors, pouting/pulling faces/flexing muscles/dancing around when he didnt know i'd sneaked into the room.

rofl, that was the first and only advice my dad ever gave me about men. I was like, eleven. He sat me down and said, "Okay, I'm going to give you the only advice about men you will ever need. We are giant little boys."

And it's totally true.

Your little boy sounds like a typical child, off in his own little world and not paying attention to anything you're saying. Funny story and he's a cutie. Sad thing is, they don't change much as they grow up the boys. I asked my DH to feed the dog and wash the car while I was away for the weekend and no kidding when I came back he'd washed the dog and put fuel in the car instead. Thankfully he also remembered to give our little girl (the dog) food as well but the car never got washed.
