Congratulations on your niece's birth!!! Being an Aunty is a great honour. One thing I found very funny as my niece started to talk was hearing her call my sister "Mum". I was kind of taken aback as I never thought of her as a Mum, just always as my sister!! And it's not unusual that you love her already. I'm sure when you do meet her, she will instinctively know you are family and she can trust you. That's the experience I've had with my nieces and nephews although they live far away. It's just the bond between families. It's a great thing.
Sorry to hear about your friend as well. Suicide is a terrible tragedy for those left behind. |

Thanks everyone! I've been chockablock busy the last couple of days, and that funeral was yesterday, but will be posting some pics up later when I'm at home. Have finally been sent a couple of pics - SHE'S GORGEOUS! - big fat chubby cheeks and a thick mop o' dark hair! She was 7lb, and her name's Isabella. Pics later for sure.
 Oh and whilst I'm here my mutts are doing great - Indi's halfway healed up, all the shallower abrasions are nice new pink scars, though she still looks a bit of a trainwreck at the mo with her scabs half hanging off, half still healing!
