If he calls a lot...

In my experience Asian men tend to call A lot... I think it's part of the culture or something. What do you think if someone calls you a lot after meeting you? Are they just more attentive in general? Or do they become possessive after being in a relationship and always want to check up on you?

I get annoyed by it. I'm busy. I know he's busy. It just seems weird that I am on his mind so much. I think it is possessive.

it depends.
If I'm not too into the guy, I think it's possessive and will pull away.
If I'm head over heels with the guy I'll think it's sweet and totally love it

it depends. Some guys only do it at first and some continue to. In general I think they are more clingy. Getting rid of guys here can be a real pain.

I completely overlooked that last part there... how often does he call, exactly? daily? maybe he's just hung up on you?

I love it too. I think you can tell the difference between possessive and controlling and just being nice or into you.

A couple of times a day, accompanied by occasional emails. Dramatic age difference too (see earlier thread...) So maybe he's more into old-fashioned pursuing? I mean it's sweet but I can't imagined how he could be so hung up when he knows so little about me. I guess it doesn't matter. Now I have the upper hand.

a couple of times a day seems a bit excessive if you don't even know each other that well... but maybe he just can't stop thinking about you and wants to hear your voice?
