I think it is natural/normal for romance to fade slowly. But, it doesn't have to disappear. My husband and I have been together almost 4 1/2 years and we plan "romantic dinners" where he will make a gourmet meal, candlelight, soft music, etc. I love to leave little cards or notes for him telling him how much I love him. Or, I'll send him an erotic text/email just to get him "thinking". I think it is easy to get caught up in the everyday busy-ness of work, grocery shopping, paying bills, kids, etc. You have to make time for romance!
