wow, he did a great job picking that ring - it's huge! :)
the best part of the proposal is the messing up part... when you know that he thought of doing one thing (and probably played it in his mind a few thousand times to make sure its perfect), but then he get's all freaked out and crazy nervous that he has to improvise - or give up - so he just hands it over... lol congrats! you guys look so cute together :) |

haha i know! i think its so cute when they mess up!! he told me he was thinking of how he was going to do it over and over in his head. how smoothly he wanted it to go. he was like, "it was suppose to be peeeerfect!" ahahahaa. it still was. it meant a lot that he put in a lot of time thinking of how to propose. mostly because he doesnt put a whole lot of effort into anything romantic. or anything planning. not even vacations. i usually plan everything from booking flights, hotel, and events. it was sweet he tried to do everything. :]
thanks everyone for all the sweet words. it makes me feel so happy to hear such accepting words from everyone on tPF because in real life its not so much. its hard because im not suuuuper close to his family. my family is so accepting and they were thrilled when we told them. his family.... we still havent said a word to. (well a few people know.) they arent happy that im not filipino or white. were thinking of holding out until like 6 months before the wedding. its really hard when you want to share such happy news. but yet, i know its unneccesary drama for the time being. theyre going to nagg the whole time and complain. plus his mom would take control and plan my whole wedding.. if i wait out until then to tell everyone, then i would have had most everything planned and she cant take over. it really sucks. i love their son, and they say they love me. but i know they wont ever be fully happy because of my race and religion. :[ im sad now. |
