It's especially hard because many of us remember how excited she was last summer planning for their wedding. This was a mid-life love story and with all of J's health challenges, they were looking forward to building memories together. As his health deteriorated, other problems intruded and it is just so sad for her now. J is in a better place.

I am so sad for Leah. I can't even imagine the depths of her grief right now. They had gone through so much together -- too much -- yet they stuck right by each other with so much love and devotion. Rest in peace, J.

I don't know who Leah and J personally but I remember the story being posted. My heart literally dropped to my stomach. I am so sorry to hear and I will definitely keep Leah and their loved ones in my prayers tonight.

Firstly...thank you. I know none of us here have any clue what kind of a true support system you have been for her, and J too. I see you with wings...I know if I ever saw you on the street that is how I would know it was you...your angel wings.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I followed the other threads and was still hoping for a miracle. My heart goes out to Leah in this extremely difficult and sad time.

This is so sad to hear. I hadn't read the other threads so I read them both last night/this am. This is absolutely heartbreaking to hear, I feel so bad for Leah. The only thing that I'm sure is getting her through this is knowing that he is no longer in pain. May he rest in peace. Sending good thoughts her way!
