Engagements... how long and how old?

We meet in June, moved in together in November, got married in December and we'll be celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary this year. I was 22 and he was 28.

I'm kinda young... we started dating January 2004 when I was 17 and he was 20. We got engaged in October 07, I was 21 and he was 24. We have done absolutely jack to plan our wedding (I don't even really want one AND my mother got engaged this month so I don't want her to feel like I am stealing her thunder) so we could be senior citizens before we actually GET married.

Chances are it will be next spring or summer... I will be 23 and he will be 26.

My fiance and I first started dating in 2004. In 2006 he proposed and after 2 long years, we get married next month. I'll be 22 and he'll be 32.

Sounds like us. We met in May, and engaged by August of the same year. But we waited 2 years before tying the knot (elopement). We were in our late 20s and early 30s. We have been married 15 years.

We were friends for a couple years first and dated for almost 2 years before getting engaged. By the time we get married, which will be in December, we will have been together for 3 years and engaged for 1 1/2 years. I am 27 (will be 28 exactly 3 weeks after wedding) and he will be 35 by that time.

When I was about 20 I was engaged. I was with him a total of about a year all together. I don't remember at what point the engagement really happened. But I do have to say that the length of time is not important. What is important is marrying the right person!

We dated for 1.5 years before he proposed last June. We've been engaged for a little over a year now, and our wedding is in 3 weeks.

I will be turning 23 a few weeks after our wedding.

we were with together for 2 1/2 years before my fiance proposed to me in hawaii on vacation.. still engaged 6 months later and planning to have a niiiiice long engagement because i always wanted one!! want to enjoy this time and not stress out the wedding planning because its a location wedding.. we live in california and plan on getting married where he proposed.. back in hawaii!! im 20, and DF is 21 and happily in love!!

we have been together for 1.5 years. And after my never ending yapping how marriage doesnt make sense to me he would never propose ( he said one - I would but I dont want to hear a no).

Looks like if I want to get married I will have to propose myself to him. I might just do it in the right moment

We dated about 3 1/2 years before we were engaged.

Our engagement lasted 9 months....just enough time to plan the wedding.

We both were 23 when we married and we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this past March
