Does Cuddling Count As Cheating?

I would never cuddle with another person while in a relationship - cuddling, for me, is one of the most intimate things that a SO and I could do.

That said, there's a difference between a simple hug and a cuddle and would laugh in the face of anyone who told me I couldn't give someone a comforting hug or something along those lines.

ITA cuddling is very personal and I would not do that with anyone but my SO.

Hugging? That's another story. I have quite a few male friends and we always hug eachother hello but it's not a super intimate hug if that makes sense.

Cuddling is very personal, and is a sign of more-than-friend affection, if you know what I mean. I would never cuddle or be that close with someone other than the BF.

A hug "hello" or when someone needs a hug is different. Unless the person you're hugging wants to make the hug last a littlelonger than a friendly hug should

definitely, cuddling is cheating. cuddling is intimate, and intimacy = cheating to me.

Edit: cuddling does not include a simple or comforting hug. I too have tons of guy friends and if a hug was cuddling I would be in trouble!

same, to me cuddling can show more emotion than sex. I mean sex can be meaning less but I don't think cuddling can be meaningless.

absolutely!!! cuddling is cheating!!!

i have a 3 second rule...

a hug that lasts more than 3 seconds is too much...
a handshake that lasts longer than 3 seconds is too much...

The thought of cuddling with anyone kind of creeps me out. I wouldn't want to do it. So if cuddling = cheating, I wouldn't ever be guilty of cheating on my BF. I feel the same way about kissing. It's more icky than cuddling.

It depends on your intentions and it depends what you mean by cuddling. An affectionate hug or whatever with a friend is nothing. But laying in bed spooning is cheating!

Cuddling, yeah, I'd consider that cheating. Hugging is not.
