I was down with an infection today, and was just generally lethargic and sleepy. So he ordered in breakfast, and got me movies to watch in bed together. He was also super cuddly and made sure to check I was feeling okay the entire day

These are great! It's the weekend, so I always get coffee in the morning. I love coffee, but I hate making it. During the week when we're on different schedules, I just drink tea. On Saturdays and Sundays, he grinds up the beans and make me a cup.

My DBF made me my fave last nite: grilled cheese sandwich, with tomato, and fried egg cooked to perfection inside (a little gooey!)...

and most of all, he tells me how happy he is to have me EVERYDAY!

We were lying in bed this morning, cuddling and enjoying being able to sleep in, and he pulled my arm up over my head and then did that thing from Dirty Dancing (you know, where Johnny tries to run his fingers down Baby's arm and she can't stop laughing) and asks me "what movie?" and for some reason it was really funny.

And right now he's attempting to fix my elliptical machine so I can workout (in the basement, where he watches football) before the games start. lol! Good luck, buddy.

My SO is great! He likes to cook a lot, actually he is the cook and I am the eater LOL..

Anyway, I really love Hibachi (aka Bennihana style food) but there are no restaurants close by us so my SO went online to get the recipes and made me the best dinner ever!! It actually tasted better than the real thing at the restaurant.

We had fried rice, hibachi veggies, chicken & steak.. and we even had that yummy dipping sauce. It was delish! It will be a regular in our house from now on and next time he's going to do shrimp!

Ok.. now I'm getting hungry. It was really sweet though, he did all of it down to the making of the homeade garlic butter.

ETA...He sat and cuddled with me while we watched The Lake House on TV last night. It's one of my favorite movies and I've seen it so many times on DVD but it was on broadcast TV last night...what a surprise! He knows how much I love it!

My husband fixed our bedroom up! he laid out new carpet and painted. He also surprised me with with 2 night stands. The last night I wanted carrot cake and even though he was super tired, he went out and got it for me!

This is a great idea for a thread.

Today, the BF took me out for breakfast. Yesterday, he bought a new vacuum cleaner; it's SUCH a joy to use! SMH @ being excited over a vacuum cleaner. But I was after him to get one for MONTHS and he finally did! It's SO lightweight, and it picks up SO well...

DH took out the recycling this morning. This is a big deal because it requires a trip down the hall, into the elevator, down 8 flights, into the garage and then into the dumpsters.

Now he is taping off the edges around our kitchen cabinets so we can finish painting them. New granite, sink and faucet to be installed tomorrow! Yay!

If we are watching a football game apart, we call each other before the game, sometimes during half times and after the game.

Like today he called me at the start of the Giants' game!
