My friend's son has a girlfriend who will be turning 21. She told me about his gifts to her and I though it was reallu cute and unique.
He is doing 21 reasons why I love you.
He bought 21 gifts and wrote a reason for each gift like:
I love the way you smell: bottle of perfume
I love your smile: toothbrush
I love spending time with you: watch

You could do this for anyone's birthday and the presents don't have to be expensive--the dollar stores have lots of fun stuff too.

I could see things like:
I love the way you laugh: joke book
I love to hear you talk: cell phone holder/ect.
You make my heart jump: jump rope

Just wanted to share.

My bf will turn 33, maybe I can do this for him.
