Am I the only one who has a PLH?

thats right. a Purse Loving Hubby.

Every time I go thru my bags trying to decide which ones to sell on E-Bay, my DH is going, "no, don't sell THAT one!"

He LOVES all my LVs and he has taken a liking to others as well. He even has his eye on a mens Prada messenger.
While I guess I am thankful for his attitude its still a little frustrating cause he's such an enabler. I'm trying to streamline, he's asking me what bag I have my eye on right now. His response is, "get it!"

But before you get a little envious keep in mind I think he just feels guilty for spending so much money on drums.

I know. He's a keeper!

Well...he won't be my hubby until September, but my DF is great when it comes to purses!

I knew he was a keeper the very first time we went to the mall together. I HAVE TO look at bags when I am in any store that carries purses. I HAVE TO.

He not only tolerated it, he actively participated!

Shocking, huh?

Maybe it's because his father owned several men's clothing stores, making J fashionably "aware", but he actually enjoys looking at purses with me. He knows many of the different brands and offers constructive opinions. We have a favorite restaurant that we went to a couple of times a month before he was in the hospital, and our ritual afterwards was to go to Nordstrom to look at purses. If I didn't bring it up, he would! LOL

He says part of the fun is just watching how much I enjoy looking at purses On the other hand, I also know he would love to buy me the purse of my dreams and never will be able to and that bothers him. So sometimes I will deliberately avoid looking at purses, but he will always ask me if I want to go look.

Oh yeah....he thinks "man-purses" are cool, too! LOL

Jason loves my purse and makeup fetishes. He loves Hermes, knows different types of leathers and colors....it's so cute. Cept he calls it 'the Herm', which sounds kind of like an STI...

DH is a PLH. He loves all my purses and he even helps me pick them out. He's got great taste. Very simple and elegant. He always says "Only buy purses that are versatile. There's no use in buying an expensive bag if you can't pair it with every outfit". He's really sweet and very supportive. He understands ALL of my obsessions. From makeup, clothes, shoes, and purses. I asked if it's ever bothered him and his reply was, "Why would it bother me? It's a girl thing, right? You all have your interests. How could I ever hold you back from that?". He's so funny, he can a hobo from a satchel. LoL.

Yes. Drums, cymbals, guitars, amps, pedals.... funny how they're so much more than LV.

I think this means our DHs know how to pick their battles!

DH is great about the bags. Very helpful. Actually, he's that way with all shopping related endeavors. His idea of the perfect Sunday (barring his team in the Super Bowl or something) is going to the mall, hanging out, getting coffee, people watching, and being my fashion advisor. It's like your best gay guy friend, but, well, better!

AND he is becoming quite the little knockoff cop. "Honey... I think that's one's fake... am I right?"

My hubby completely understands my purse obsession. He's a total enabler and has made comments about other women's bags when we are out together. He's really cute - at times he'll say "isn't that a (insert name of bag)". Often followed by "I think the one you have is better".

the only drawback...he won't EVER hold it!!

My SO is a total PLH ( even though when he says "I love you and your bags" he doesnt mean the leather ones since bags mean boobs in Danish

) .

But when i want to sell a bag he won´t let me and when i say i won´t buy this bag because we need this and that for the house, he will object, because he thinks I need to spoil myself from time to time. Love the bugger

I don't know about purse loving, but my husband is definately purse friendly. When I drag him to the mall, he seems to enjoy the purse department. Sometimes I wonder if that is because it's near the shoe department, which has lots of chairs...

Kidding aside, he has gone to LV for a few of my gifts.

Mine is quite the enabler too

He's gotten really good at spotting fakes (he's constantly on the lookout when we're out and about or tries to figure out eBay listing

) AND is the caretaker of my bags

He just hates dirt, scratches, etc so he cleans/polishes/treats my bags.

It's too cute, one day I came home and a new to me bag had arrived: He beams and goes "Look honey, it has arrived. It's authentic and I already waterproofed it" A total keeper, don't ya think!

My DH is like a sponge (where it matters). He absorbs any information and can recognize the brand of a purse just by looking at the style or logo. His eyes are also trained to spot fakes from a distance.

You're not alone shoo!! When my SO goes to the base, he takes pretty little iPhone pictures of the new purses they have there. When he gets home, he shoes them to me and tells me which one(s) he likes! I just love him
