So you can remove the tarnish? Is tarnish the "problem" with old oldware? hat about the new shiny gold hardware, are there any problems with those?

^^ Yes you can remove the tarnish. Almost all brass tarnishes.. so that is definitely a side effect of using brass. Most designers will use brass for that very reason though.. because the tarnish gives the brass an antiqued look.

The new signature hardware does not tarnish because it isn't solid brass. Hope that helps!

I like the tarnished look. People would complain about Kooba bags Hardware Tarnishing but it gives it a nice antiqued effect. I'd leave it be and enjoy it.
